There were suits filed in court, but there wasn't a hearing or any type of actually legal proceedings yet. And early indications are that Kessler wasn't at the meetings that occurred the last few days to get the deal done. Though he was present via conference call at a few key junctures.

I know I'm biased because I'm such a huge Thunder homer, but I really don't know if there's a classier, more genuine, high character person in all of team sports than Kevin Durant. As a Cowboys fan, I know that guys like Ware, Witten and Romo are high character people too, but KD by all accounts seems to be about as humble and kind-hearted as they come.

Time to take back what is rightfully ours. I don't care what anybody else says I believe the Lakers have another run in them. I really believe last year's loss was a fluke. I believe the team was just so gassed from three straight Finals and they just flamed out. It's incredibly difficult to just win one championship, but winning three in a row is damn near impossible. They've gotten some extra rest and should be 100 percent healthy. If Kobe and Gasol can play like they did in 2010 the Lakers will get the Larry O' Brein trophy back. Go Lakers Go!!!!!
