NBA Playoffs thread

I actually think that if Parker doesn't take that shot to the ribs in game 2, this might be over. After that shot, the Spurs went completely to taking jump shots. They were in the bonus for 7+ minutes and they just didn't take advantage of it by going to the basket.

Doesn't really matter. Spurs are playing really well but it's not over. See what happens back in San Antonio.

I want the Spurs to win as well - this series is not over. Two days off will help the Heat. If they win Game 5, it's going 7.

Its surprising that they have made the Spurs look so good these past 2 games after looking like they were ready to take charge of the series after game 2.

The Spurs fans knew it too, its why they have waited to post. They were worried.

Hey, the Spurs are a great team. But man, the Heat look dreadful. Everyone has disappeared except LeBron and Bosh thinks he's a 2 guard.

Dwyane Wade, by the way, is so thoroughly done. My god. He is awful.

My brother says: "he plays like he has banana peels for shoes."

best stat of the night: LeBron scores 19 points on near perfect shooting in the 3rd quarter and the Spurs still win the quarter by 5 lol.

Man those Miami fans are brutal, leaving early, booing.. Sheesh.. They've been saying Wade is likely gone next season and Carmello is taking his place, all speculation by sports radio but still interesting.. James just needs a better supporting cast around him but it's Not over.....

All true.

The Spurs are playing as good as they can and its impressive. The Heat, not so much. Pat Riley looks like a man that knows he needs to make some changes.

I am one of the biggest Spurs homers on this board, maybe the biggest......just because we don't post every 5 seconds or after every game doesn't make us worried....I for one have not spent as much time on this board over the last year or so......I still come in and post when I can, but my life is so much busier now.

As far as being worried, I have never been worried when playing the Heat. Last year or this year. I was worried about the Thunder with Ibaka, cause the Spurs had a stigma when he was in the game. Once they got past that hiccup, they discarded the Thunder. Back to the Finals, the Spurs won by 15 in game 1. Yes Lebron went out with cramps, but t was only a 2 pt Miami lead when he left. It was anyone's game. As for game 2, the tide turned to the Heat when the Spurs missed 4 straight FTs.....it could have been a 6 pt lead, instead it was 2 and Miami had the momentum. Instead of the Lebron 3 only cutting the lead in half, it gave the Heat a 1 pt lead. Still, the game was close down the stretch. Unfortunately, the Heat played better, they made their shots and had fewer turnovers. Also, for some reason, the Spurs took forever to shoot that last shot down 5 with 9 seconds left....My biggest issue with game 2 was Diaw being too passive offensively. He passed up several wide open jump shots, shots he normally makes for us.

Games 3 and 4 were all Spurs from start to finish.

Spurs win 3 games by 15+, Heat win 1 game by 2.

I feel strongly that the Spurs win tomorrow night. They just seem to have this fire and determination that I have not seen in a long time. They are the deepest team in the league, the freshest team in the league, the best passing and shooting team in the league. They know they gave away the title last season, and they have it in their grasp this season. They will not prolong the Heat's chances and they will not be denied.

Not only do I feel the Spurs will win tomorrow, I feel it will be by 15+.

GO SPURS GO

Complete Team vs 1 Rare Talent...

And yet it's still not over.........

Tonight I expect some fireworks......

LOL!! Homer Alert!!!

Wherever Tony Parker is aiming, he neeeds to shift it a few more inches because his jump shots are not even close.

Dwyane Wade did the impossible with his flop that made the refs look like morons, it made the refs quit babysitting him.

Spurs in five and it was an easy five. Enjoy the one for the thumb Spurs and congrats Spurs fans.
