Got to give some credit to Jason Kidd after game 2 it looked like the suns to just run that pick and roll all series and there’s nothing the mavs could do about it, but now it’s 2-1.

Now it's 2-2 and the Grizz are the team looking to eat a gentlemen's sweep.
NBA is game by game for momentum.

Desmond Bane has the most disproportionately short arms I’ve ever seen on an NBA player.

Scared off lots of scouts who took far worse players.
But he definitely a ceiling on the defensive end.

The Grizz making a bigger deal out of Poole grabbing Morant’s knee is a bit much. Similar things happen on the court going for rebounds and loose balls during every NBA game. If the intent was to hurt his knee he could have really yanked his leg more demonstratively or just dove at his knee ala Rondo into Westbrook’s leg 6-7 years ago.

This was not on par with Bane clubbing Payton’s head on that fast break attempt. I don’t think Bane intended to break his elbow, but he undeniably wanted to make physical contact when wound up and made that lame attempt on the ball that had no hope of being successful.

Yes, Draymond’s flagrant 2 was well-deserved also.

Luka had 4 steals yesterday. Its just insane how like LeBron he is. Impacts game majorly even when he shoots bricks form outside.
If PHX plays CP3 and Book they can really score it but can't stop Dallas. Lose either of those guys and they D up much better but can't score it.
It is a wild series.
Home court has been major thus far.
DAL has to hope they can turn that tide at least once but this once would seem headed to a tough, nasty and entertaining 7 game series.
IMO whomever wins this series should win the West.

This has been an impressive offseason already for the Mavs.

Although it is somewhat like the Cowboys in that my care-meter is about half (or less?) of what it once was, I'm still proud of them!

Go mavs go. Gonna have to win one of the road now but a game 7 is a new ball game.

Mavs have really shown some toughness.
And detailed PHX weaknesses.
Will be a very uphill battle on road but you take the 1 seed to game 7 you have to feel good about that.
You do that with this team and you have to love what it means for guys wanting to sign on in the summer.
If you are Dallas the good thing about not having a true Robin to Luka's Batman is so many guys would love that role.

CP3 has been toast the last 4 games. He's really worn down and his age and lack of size are hurting PHX.
Will be interesting to see what PHX does next year at Guard.
