Wish list:

Today
Michigan St > Duke
Auburn > Kentucky

Final Four
Texas Tech > Michigan State
Virginia > Auburn

Fine either way with Texas Tech or Virginia for the title
TTU and Virginia are mirror squads as I've been saying for a while.
Very good defensive teams with some good shooters and excellent coaching.

How small a world? Tech knocked off Purdue last year to reach the Elite 8.

Didn’t watch any TTU games this year but I agree they are very similar to UVA. Glad to see the defensive basketball is doing well this year.

If Auburn wins there will be two teams in the final four making their first appearance. Then UVA rebounding from last year makes this a very good year for college basketball.

Tough break for Auburn, losing their leading scorer late in the Carolina game.
Theres always at least so e lick needed to win the 6 in a row for the title
They may e lost anywY, but having the flu devastate two of their best players certainly hurt NC on both ends.
I notice Duke is missing their second best player. Not sure if hes back today.

Should be fun

Well we won't be hearing "Zion" that much anymore. Great player but the refs let him get away with a lot, more than they did any other player in this tournament.

I'm sure if that team stuck together another year they'd be insane. But I always thought they had the most talent (especially in the future) but maybe not the best team.

Zion can go now and make his 100s of millions. Wish him well. But SO glad they didn't win the title.

Hard to repeat when you lose 4 starters to the NBA. But, 26-10 is hardly a bad season, especially with a coach like Jay Wright. I see UNC winning it all this year. Mt. Zion and Duke will choke. :muttley:
@lukin2006
They weren't going to win it all by being lucky like in those last two games. Isn't karma a beautiful thing? Hey Duke? How's it feel to LOOSE by one point?
UCF wants to know!:lmao2:

The height of Texas Tech basketball before this was losing to Allen lverson in the tourney where Darvin Ham kept breaking backboards.
The entire Tech fan base and especially those in Lubbock are over the moon.

With the 4 left, I'm going to cheer for Michigan State. Any team that knocks the mighty Duke off their pedestal in their house deserves a championship. Let's get that 3rd one Spartans. :flagwave:

Waiting for the shoe to drop on Bruce Pearl....:muttley:

I'm happy for Auburn (though not at the expense of my team) but Bruce Pearl has a history of pay for play rumors, etc. I hope this run doesn't get tainted.

No offense to you Michigan State fans....and I really like their program...but I'd like to see a new team win this year.
  • Virginia (very good for so long, but never a title)
  • Texas Tech (go Texas. Plus I like watching them and it'd be their first)
  • Auburn (cinderella, sort of. would also be their 1st)
  • Mich St (power program but no titles in a long time, but they do have 2)

I like them all ok

I had MSU vs Tenn in the final in my main bracket so yea hoping that falls all the way apart now.

I will say this:
These may be the best 4 coaches in the country right now.
And no I don't mean they pass Cal or K or Roy for a career but simply in the right now right here these 4 are arguably doing more than anybody.
