Nah. Romo couldn't perform the way Dak did last week at Tampa, couldn't pass for even 300 yards or more than 2 TDs in a playoff game, or help win a playoff game away on the road. I'll take Dak.
Romo has had some big games too. They both make dumb choices at time, but I think Romo was a touch better. The way he could elevate Dez and Dak couldnt was noticeable to me.

Yeah they lapped us by a whole two games. The NFL can change a lot in one year. Hurts having a career year this year doesn't mean he's going to turn into Aaron Rodgers.
The Eagles will be lucky to win as many games next year as they won this year.

We weren’t aggressive when Philly won the Super Bowl in 2017. We had a lackluster offseason and went cheap at WR. Our WR group was so bad we ended up cutting both free agent WRs we signed and it forced us to trade a first round pick for Amari Cooper during the season.

Well they won what 14? Hard to repeat that.

But they will be freaking good again next year unless they get hit by injuries.

We do this every year trying to cut off teams at the knees thinking they will be worse and we'll just slide up the pecking order with our BS offseasons.

Philly is the favorite to win the division in 2023 and until I see Jerry and Stephen have a real offseason and not their typical nickel and dime BS offseason, I expect Philly to break the streak and repeat.

You never know. Once they have to pay Hurts, and we should all root for him to win the MVP award, they will have their own CAP issues. I think the Eagles are a good team but they could lose some key players next year too.
Eagles are a great team. They have arguably the best offensive and defensive lines in the NFL. Add to that two dynamic receivers and a top 5-10 tight end, as well as an MVP candidate in hurts.

Once they pay hurts they will have to make sacrifices at other positions, but they should be every bit as good next year. They also have a top 10 pick as well as their own pick in the first round next year.

Honestly, if you think about it, they could very well be in the best position of all 32 teams heading into next year.

The FO should have been aggressive with player acquisition this year, or even the previous year…Dallas is already behind the curve; in the interim, Philly is going to the Super Bowl with both a HC and a QB in their second year and a team stacked with talent on both sides of the ball…that is what a competent and proactive FO can do.

Taking notes Jerry and Stephen? Although Jerry will think Dallas is 1-2 players short of a Super Bowl because Dallas split games with Philly this past season.

I believe DC will never see a SB till Jones are out of the way.
