Everybody talking about the eagles being in a tough spot this off-season. Same folks would be creaming themselves if the cowboys had 2 first rounders including the #10 overall and talking about how much those picks could improve the team.
I mean you have fans just in the last few days talking about how we have flexibility on the cap, can restructure Dak, etc.

Funny how that's sound strategy for us but apparently awful strategy for the Eagles. LOL.

We have fans that really, really struggle with accepting the reality that we are what we are............ a middling franchise led by two guys that really have no clear vision for what they want to do.

And I bet that 4-5 years ago you had the same comments and yet here is Philly back at the top of the heap again. Roseman has proven to be smart, much smarter than many of our fans. I suspect Philly ain't heading for a cliff anytime soon.

And no, it's unlikely they lose both coordinators.
I may have...I did continuously say that year that they were the luckiest team ever (until I saw this travesty) and said Wentz was trash...don't care what his numbers were.

People like you(u may have argued, not sure lol) argued I was crazy about that. 3 teams and multiple benches later....I was spot on.

Yes, they won't completely fall off a cliff...but they likely will never be this talented again

The forgone conclusion that they will be a dynasty is where I have issue with it.

Yeah the Eagles fans are worried about reaching their 2nd SB in 4 years. Just like the Rams when they won last year.
We are still building after 27 years.
What is wrong with some of our fans?

Nah. Romo couldn't perform the way Dak did last week at Tampa, couldn't pass for even 300 yards or more than 2 TDs in a playoff game, or help win a playoff game away on the road. I'll

If I didn't know anything about their cap, I would be scared too.

They are going to have a hard time keeping this team anywhere near what it is right now.
How that 27 years going Jerry?

I don't know about dynasty either but gun to head, I'd bet on them being a more likely to see another SB in the next 5 years than us.

We have 27 years of complete futility that tells us that betting on Jerry over a GM that has two SB appearances in 6 years, the 2nd after basically retooling on the fly, would be kinda stupid.

They have a great GM
He made great trades.
GM is the most important position.
We are weak there.
We are at a competitive disadvantage
THIS. Until Jerry dies or hires a competent GM and gets out of his way, nothing is going to change. There will always be a team or 2 that outmaneuvered us in the offseason and built a better roster.

It is not just the Eagles that stand in the way. The 49ers should get better in the offseason too simply by losing Jimmy G and being able to use his money to sign more talent. They might even be able to trade him and add draft picks on top of the cap savings.

One thing about this Cap issue .. no matter how good you are, chances are you’re not gonna sustain it. My God, I abhor the Cap.

At some point you might want to look at the mirror and accept that you don’t know anything about football and that Jerry and Dak (and Garrett who you blindly supported fir a decade) are totally incompetent

It’s long last time

Yeah they lapped us by a whole two games. The NFL can change a lot in one year. Hurts having a career year this year doesn't mean he's going to turn into Aaron Rodgers.
A whole two games in the tournament is a long way

I was done with Garrett WELL before they actually fired him. Years before.

I gave him credit for 2014....I would have never have hired him though. Said it at the time.

LOL. They are in the SB. We are at home.

They are in their 2nd SB in 6 years. We haven't seen a SB in 27 years. Over that 27 yeras they have been in 7 NFCCG games and 3 SBs.

They are a much better franchise than us at this point. It's not even all that close, actually.

They have a VERY clear vision, and they are doing it to perfection. They are valued at 8B, about 30% more than the next team and almost double the average.

Stephen and Jerry are the champs at revenue: “the Cowboys have been the most successful at capitalizing on stadium and branding in order to boost external revenues”. At least Jerry has some interest in winning, but Stephen is only interested in the brand.

they are going to be very good for many years. We need to get a better linebacker play and more weapons on offense or we are in big trouble. Being frugal and cheap is not going to beat them.
You better break out your magic wand and make the salary cap disappear
