Need be aggressive this off-season. We are in trouble with Eagles

8 of 11 starters on defense are free agents

Kelce likely retires as well. Sanders and Scott are also UFA. Hurts deal also looms soon at likely 40+ million a season

Yeah I’m sure the eagles front office is gonna lose sleep tonight.

Oh that’s right they will. But not from anxiety, due to celebrating.

they are going to be very good for many years. We need to get a better linebacker play and more weapons on offense or we are in big trouble. Being frugal and cheap is not going to beat them.
If I didn't know anything about their cap, I would be scared too.

They are going to have a hard time keeping this team anywhere near what it is right now.

Romo has had some big games too. They both make dumb choices at time, but I think Romo was a touch better. The way he could elevate Dez and Dak couldnt was noticeable to me.
Are you kidding?

Dak took a gimped-leg Dez Bryant who was on the downside of his career and led Dez to his last Pro Bowl and the highest yards/reception average in Dez's career. That's no small feat.

Don't see it with cap boy in charge. What did he about the super bowl isn't won in the offseason

They’re going to lose half their starting defense to FA and Hurts isn’t a sustainable QB long term.

They can keep it pretty great for a couple more years. They are likely going to do what we did with Dak and backload a deal to Hurts.

And as noted, you all thought they were done after their last SB because of Wentz's deal, etc.

And 5 years later, back in the SB with a chance to win another. Maybe you guys should stop making predictions about how Philly isn't going to be able to keep doing what they are doing.

Keep telling yourself that.

I mean they've played in 2 SBs in 6 years and the 2nd after basically having to tear down the 2017 SB winning team.

And then there is us. 27 years and counting.

Our fans have been blinded.

The eagles salary cap situation next year is meangingless. Their FO has already proven it is light years ahead of the cowboys. So even if they do have a rough year or two cap wise. There’s no logical reason to think they won’t bounce right back from it.

Funny enough it’s the same reason some of us have been BEGGING the cowboys FO to be more aggressive and go “all in” for once.

Exactly.I think some people are hitting the booze early.lol

As long as we have this FO we won't be aggressive in free agency. Drafting is this team's MO.

maybe we should tank and get a QB . LOL

Its not the Hurts deal that is the problem. It is having to convert base salary for Slay (32) and Johnson (32) to free up cap to operate. Right now they have about 5 mill in cap and have to sign 8 starters on Defense including Garner's Johnson and Hargrave.

They also have to sign Sanders on offense, which they probably won't.

Also, my eagle's fan friend thinks both Coordinators will leave for jobs.

Everybody talking about the eagles being in a tough spot this off-season. Same folks would be creaming themselves if the cowboys had 2 first rounders including the #10 overall and talking about how much those picks could improve the team.

I think we could get alot done real fast just by plating things towards the Example: try and trade Tyron Smith for a Maybe see if zek will cut his salary down by half and extend him Ask Dak to cut down to 30m a year and extend him creating some cap ? Sign Daron Payne to be our tuff run stopper next to Osi?Trade away J. Lewis with a 5th rounder for a 3rd . Trade some draft capitol to move up into the 2nd round to lock on to some talent.
Draft starters asap no bench guys these guys gotta start

Dallas will be okay next year. Of course, they won't win anything, but they will be okay.

Same thing was said after 2017. A poster on here said they would own the Division for the next decade. FA, retirements and injuries are equalizers.

And I bet that 4-5 years ago you had the same comments and yet here is Philly back at the top of the heap again. Roseman has proven to be smart, much smarter than many of our fans. I suspect Philly ain't heading for a cliff anytime soon.

And no, it's unlikely they lose both coordinators.
