and we'll likely hear-see upcoming games where the Texans won't even score more than 9 points ...from the stuff of legends
If teams turn the ball over inside their own 30 more than once per game against Houston, they will absolutely score more than 9 points. Again, if Dallas took care of the ball, the game wouldn't have been close. To Houston's credit, they converted 2/3 turnovers into 14 points. They needed turnovers to stay in the game and they got them (thanks to unforced dallas errors)

This is it.

17 of their 23 points were on us / bad calls. The fumble by Turpin, the pick by Dak and the terrible pass they called complete they equaled 17 of their points.

Also, being stopped on 4th down gave them momentum turned into 3 for them.

That is why you play the games. It very easily could’ve been a blow out for us. We just couldn’t get out of own way until late.

Y'all funny. Yup, just go out and get you some starter quality players during the season, no problem.

Bo is better than anyone not already on a team.

How long is he out?
They say “serious strain”. No timetable given. But I’d say 6-8 weeks so likely the season

Hassan Ridgeway strained his pec on Dec. 5th, it will not require surgery, but likely cost him the season.

Well, that sucks.

Yes, we need a NT, and a high quality one, not some stiff. Think about that the next time you feel like clamoring for CB's and WRs in rounds 1 and 2.

WHY?????????????????? This is a ONE and Done 2.0 team at best in the playoffs. If I'm JJ I look to fire MM and get Payton in the fold immediately after this fake run at the SB is over AND if Quinn doesn't like it he can hit the road too. Because his defense isn't all that, Parsons looks lost and always has this weird look of his face when the camera is on him.
Why would an award winning chef come here when the guy that buys the groceries and owns the kitchen is always in the said kitchen and getting the wrong groceries.

This board would melt down if drafted a true NT in Round 1 or 2. Most of the NFL would laugh as well. NT is probably one of the harder positions to grade it seems. You are lucky if there is 1 decent one in every draft that can play at the NFL level

I would not melt down, I would be doing cartwheels in the house at near 60.

The league median this season is 121 rushing yards.

  • In the Dak era, the Cowboys win over 95% of games when:
    • The opponent has less than 140 yards rushing.
    • The Cowboys have more than 100 yards rushing.

But the question looms: do you consider Philadelphia’s, Tennessee’s, Washington’s, and Jacksonville’s rush offenses as median?

Hankins wasn’t starting though was he? Maybe just depth assurance is what Dallas should look for

Bad time of year to look for qaulity depth. Thats supposed to be what the team does in the offseason.

Maybe Jerry and son can cut the yacht season short and focus on acquiring talent next off season.

That video is old.

He did not play in 2020.

Came back in 2021 but only played 4 of the final 9 games.

Played 1/3rd or less of snaps in his final 3 games.

The Cowboys have basically locked up a spot in the playoff but are highly unlikely to pass the Eagles to win the division.
- Hankins will be back for the playoffs...
I think we need more help than just Hankins. Take a flyer on a couple of these tackles and keep the one that can still play.

That is what Philly did. Now they are positioned to stuff the run throughout the playoffs. Are we?

What a stupid comment.

Philly did not sit on their hands during the middle of the season. They found 2 stud run stuffers. We need to do the same thing. At least bring in a couple guys to see if they can still play!

Probably not one that has not played this season.
We don’t know that for sure. Take a flyer on a guy with potential.

Is our current run D stout enough to control the run in the playoffs? If you say no, we need to go out and at least TRY to get better!

Suh and Joseph were available a few weeks ago.
We have take a flyer on a couple guys and see if they can play. Don’t just sit on your hands and say, no one is out there. That attitude is not a winners attitude. Do everything you can, legally, to make your team better!!!
They were available when they traded for Hankins it makes you wonder what they have left in the tank if Dallas was willing to give up some draft capital instead of signing either 1 of those guys for free.
