I'm going to say it: I don't care what seed we get.

I've been watching Dallas for the past 16 years (only 25). Here is how everything played out.

2007: No. 1 seed -- loss to Giants

2009: Division winner (not No.1) -- win vs. Philly and blowout at Minnesota

2014: Division winner (not No. 1) -- win vs. Detroit and Dez no-catch game

2016: No. 1 seed -- loss to Packers

2018: Division winner (not No. 1) -- win vs. Seattle and road loss to Rams

2021: Division winner (not No. 1) -- home loss to 49ers

You know what I haven't experienced? Playoffs but on the road for the first game. Shoot, at this point, I want to see us on the road to start to switch things up. This team has disappointed me in every single postseason, so I'm rooting for the No. 5 seed.

First of all I don’t think Peyton will be available . And not sure either Sean’s would be interested in this puppetry position unless no other offers come available.

I’d argue what MM has done is enough to continue on. And he stays perfectly in line with our dysfunctional ownership ways which is a huge part of the equation here.
I agree. But its enticing.

Yep. I see MM being toast, but not sure about DQ being the next HC. If anything, it’s the defense thats playing poorly lately. That’s on DQ.
we agree but Jerry might see it differently. DQ hasn't done much lately to inspire confidence.

Agree. I think it may be a blessing in disguise

I can’t imagine a scenario where it’s advantageous to play a playoff game on the road versus at home .
Well they other way hasnt worked so THIS might. Might bring the team closer actually. US against the world deal.

It is the playoffs. You have be beat good teams if you want to win the Superbowl.

Trying to cherry pick preferred opponents never really works anyways. I'm sure everyone wanted that Seahawks team with a losing record.

You are right. I'm chilling today. I remember in 2018 praying for us to face the Rams because I didn't want to go on the road at New Orleans. Look how that turned out.

We lost to Jax and Green Bay. We should've never been in a position to hope for the NFC's top two seeds to lose on the final day; we made our own bed.

But why would McVay be tempted into this circus?
I get what you're saying. But the Dallas is a circus narrative really hasn't been true for a number of years. Yes we have eccentric owners (who are generally well liked/regarded around the league). We get a lot of spotlight (which megalomania coaches love).

We have a roster that looks pretty good on paper with a great QB number 1 WR and a defensive player who will be in DPOY conversations for years to come.....and he's not a one man band at that.

If Jerry and team wanted to go in another direction there would be many a suitor. Not that they should or will....but if they did...

I would swap that.

NY beats Minnesota so they would play Philly with Dallas going to SF
Which means Eagles gets a cakewalk round 2 and NFCCG is in Philadelphia.

Forecast says 30 degrees and a lot of snow January 29th, but that’s a long way off

Turns out those two teams don't suck huh.

Not many playoff coaches are fired . Especially not ones with back to back appearances .
I know what you’re saying. But if we are one and done again, it will be difficult not to blame MM. I think he needs to win at least one game. Hopefully we can make it to the NFC championship so I can start to believe once again.

I can see Denver getting McVay. I think Stafford is done. Wilson is very close to being done but Sean MIGHT be able to get 1 decent year from him.
