If we stay at the 5th seed then we must go to Tampa and face the GOAT. Even with Tampa down this year the QB we have never beat has shown some sparks of greatness down the stretch.

And if Egirls lose , assuming Whiners don’t lose then we’d end up with 2nd seed and most likely face the Packers and Rodgers at home . Another matchup we’d rather not see even with GB down this year but playing well down the stretch.

Reaching the #1 seed is least likely scenario . We’d need the current top seeds to both lose today.

My hunch is both current top seeds win today. And Packers fill #7 seed with with only change in current standings .

GB goes to SF
NY at Minn
Dall at Tampa

I'm ok with that. As long as Dallas didn't get a bye.....they are terrible coming off byes. Rusty, unprepared, catatonic, lethargic, zombie-like, unfocused...should i go on.?

Dallas' path to the super bowl would likely be
at Tampa
at Philly (with them having a week to rest and prepare)
at SF

That's pretty brutal. This is why the 1 seed matters.
And that's why you don't blow 2 and 3 score games to average teams in GB and Jax. Even just win one of those, we get the 1 seed with a win today and let all the other 6 teams beat up on each other next week. Win both as we should have, this week means zero as we already have the 1 seed locked.

We will be the 5 seed playing Tampa on the road. Rest up today and go get them next week. Giants already conceding this week. No reason in going all out today

But that’s assuming the Egirls don’t bring back Hurts earlier if they needed to lock up division.

Which is arguably only reason we had a shot .

No shame in losing? Pretty embarrassing what we are seeing on the field today. They can't beat a 4th round rookie.
No shame in losing to the GOAT.

Yes, today was ugly but wasn’t our topic of discussion.

His body of work is GOAT status, he is not at that level anymore and not who will end the year for the Cowboys. The Cowboys are not going to be able to get anything going against that Bucs defense with the blocking we saw today.

If you’ve watched him in recent weeks you’d see he’s still capable.

If I thought we had ANY chance in hell at Tampa Bay, I'd be cheering for Green Bay tonite so SF had a shot at losing next week....but seeing us today, I am cheering for GB to lose tonite and send their cuddly wuvable wittle fans home in tears.
