meh, the internet is pretty much a volatile space these days just cause it's easy to be that way w/o having to deal with people in "real life".

does this happen? yes. so it would be pertinent to the people who do this but not all people do. this pretense that i will generasize a problem a minority are exhibiting and say that all are doing it is also an issue. not just here, but everywhere.

Naw, guy...the difference is debating the principals involved without including insults directly at another individual.

Don't make facts or even opinion grounds for insult and demeaning targeted responses.

Even here, you, personally, were never targeted...only the insult and targeting of others, was.

Topical subjects, and supporting points, can be presented without an attached label of fool, idiot, and lame.

Yah, I think you are missing my point. Cassel has played bad, so no one in their right mind would support him. So it makes sense that people would look at you funny if you did support him.

You brought up Garrett and people not liking anyone that supports him. Im trying to get my point across without getting into discussion about you know who.

This is the kind of thing that leads to moderation at times. Perhaps it would be less aggressive to say Cassel has played poorly and I don't understand why someone would still support him. I statements tend to be less problematic.

So soften it up as much as possible? Gotcha. No problem.

Can't speak for the other guy, but he has my support.

I've lived all over DFW. When I leave the area, I tell people I'm from Dallas. For all I care, the Cowboys could move to Fort Worth, they'll still be known as the Dallas Cowboys if they're here.

But it's fun to make jokes

Please god, don't move the team to farmers Branch. Think of the rutabaga crops!!!!!

some would phrase it as just don't make it personal. if you said you supported cassell n I said only a brain dead fool would do that how would you reply? just give the respect youd want in return. that really hard?

Jerry, how's everything going out by you? We're doing ok in NY, but hard to make ends meet. The cost of living here is just too high. My wife and I have friends who have moved to Dallas, and we're quite jealous of how their quality of life have increased many times fold. Huge homes, wonderful schools, etc, etc.

Heck, I just want to move to Dallas so I can watch the Cowboys.

Hope all's great.

Okay, you won me over. I read the header and thought, "what?" After reading the OP's post I agree. It's good to be DALLAS COWBOY'S fan. Perspective is everything. Big picture, my loyalty is with the Cowboys and never have to worry about that changing. I could not root for the OKC Cowboys either.

I live in CT and my company was recently aquired by a company in Carrollton...i can't tell you how pumped i was since I've been a die hard fan since 1969.

I just spent a week at Corp headquarters in Carrollton and was amazed at the lack of Cowboys fans...seems like a lot of transplants in that area.
