The great Bruce Wayne gets pissed because someone else saved the planet but destroyed some buildings in the process.

Okay.

One of the buildings was a Wayne Industries office building. I'm betting some people he knows die when that building was destroyed.

Amateur hour is being about 5 years behind the Marvel model, and still not getting it right.

Let's face it: If Marvel doesn't make Avengers, then we are not getting this movie. Marvel is acting, DC is reacting.
I certainly agree DC has dragged their feet and their onscreen efforts getting their characters on the big screen have been pathetic compared to Marvel so far. However, the ultimate success of this movie will depend on how well it is crafted and not perceptions of what has occurred before it debuts.
If Batman v. Superman is a good movie, people will watch it and want more. If not, they won't. Unfortunately, it has been over 30 years since we've seen a good Superman movie. Hopefully this will reverse that trend.
As moviegoers, we all hope every movie is good. We desire a fair return on the ticket we buy to see them, but your "30-year" opinion is not shared by the majority of the actual audience. Three quarters of the nonpaid movie critic audience gave Man of Steel positive reviews. Most people do not think Man of Steel is a great movie but do think it is a good film.

Like most things in life, opinions vary among people. Majority opinion is not always the correct opinion but it does represent what most believe. That is something to consider when making an assertion that something is or isn't worthy of praise.

I don't agree.
^This.

It is a matter of when and not if. Hollywood constantly strives to make new product, even if the product has been recycled numerous times before. Always has and most likely always shall. Eventually some studio would have invested in a primary superhero group franchise if Marvel had not beaten them to the punch with The Avengers.

She looks puny.... Not Amazonian.
I think many would like Lucy Lawless from the 1990's and throw her into this movie. I would love it too but it isn't happening.

People would be hard pressed in matching an actor playing superhero physically with his or her ideal comics version. Chris Evans does not fill out his Captain America uniform like his comics version. Neither does Chris Hemsworth with Thor. Way back when, Christopher Reeve had the perfect face for Kal-El but his suit was still missing a few muscles.

In my opinion, the only good actor picked with the body to match the character has been Ryan Reynolds. He looked great as Hal Jordan. It's too bad his Val Wilder showed through his Green Lantern outfit. He will be perfect in every way possible for Deadpool though.

What I'm saying is the Lawless/Lynda Carter/Reynolds are not typically picked to play these characters. What I hope for is an actor who can pull off the character's persona and look good doing so. I thought Christian Bale was an awful choice to play Batman AND Bruce Wayne. I was really wrong. I will wait until Gal Gadot shows me her Wonder Woman before I label her weak. :)

Hey. They get potential moviegoers talking about upcoming movies. That's good marketing. I do admit trailers do not always guarantee what they promote though.

Like I said..l I love this stuff. I will give the movie more than a chance.

But right now I like this wider woman better

Deal with all these comic book films on their own merits... They've all borrowed from each other.... both DC and Marvel has done good and bad (I thought the last Avengers was atrocious, as well as the last Iron Man)... I ll give it a chance because it has visual elements that support the story.... but nothing is guaranteed.

So.... You honestly didn't like anything in that vid?
Honestly? Okay, I'll comment.

The slo-mo was a turnoff. The otherworldly aura gives it a video game feel instead of just a video. The actors look like they were grabbed them off the street and didn't audition first. And Wonder Woman? Shoot down Gadot but please do it with someone who Maxim would at least approve a photo shoot for first. If she had thrown her hands up to her face I would have said it was a brunette vogueing in a Madonna video.

I'm way late for work. I'll check back later.

The Guardians of the Galaxy's Gamora is a six foot, 170 pound brickhouse. Zoe Saldana's 5'7" and 115 pounds. Go figure. I loved Saldana as Gamora regardless. Maybe Gadot will win over some Amazonian "purists" too. :)

You seem to think, I am a DC hater. Batman is my favorite superhero. Supes is a close 2nd, followed by Wolverine. I thought GOtG was going to be a big flop.

IMO, MoS<Superman Returns.
