Nobody is mentioning that the police report also has Hardy's face and forearm having 'injuries'. What do you people expect? It's clear they were in a 'tussle'. But it's also clear a 6 plus guy, weighing over mid 200s, with massive forearms when grabbing a girl in the arms, can very easily bruise her.

There were multiple neighbors. That witness said the guy was huge and scary, but he clearly did not know him as is evidenced in the transcript. Another witness said the girl from the room flip-flopped her statements about what happened.

and he was found guilty. He was sentenced to 60 day suspended and 18 months probation. He settled with her out of court and she left, they appealed the case but without her testimony the DA dropped the charges. So the notion there was no evidence just is not true there was enough to convict and they did.

And they were going to appeal and request a jury trial, which they were getting.. You also miss the point that conviction in such cases just have to show 'reasonable' proof. It is a very 'low' standard of proof.

If you accept these above points, what does it really matter if their was 'evidence' or not. Evidence has varying degrees and nobody really believes there was NO evidence, they simply mean it isn't enough to cast Hardy as some monster. We are talking about Greg Hardy, being some alleged monster.

and does not change the fact there was evidence, those who choose to defend him good for you I don't I think the man is scum my choice and it is based on facts not made up. Hardy no doubt can afford to get a quality lawyer and has the money to settle the case.

Fortunately for him, he's a very wealthy monster, and POOF! She disappeared.

And there was evidence she attacked Hardy, because Hardy also had injuries on his face and forearm.

So the victim cares less than you do about her injuries and the defense of her 'honor' and 'womanhood'... you see the irony in that?

I'm still pissed that the league would suspend this man even one more game. The legal system has had it's due diligence with him and that should be enough but now his employer wishes to persecute him a second time. I expect the Kraken to be released on our opponent week 1.

Because the NFL has a conduct policy they are not a court of law but they have every right to police their own organization.

Not to the same extent can you tell me if those were defensive wounds? He is 275 pound 6'04" athlete there is a physical difference between woman and men.

But like I said, this is just massive hypocrisy. I will repeat...

Roger Goodell saw the actual tapes of Ray Rice decking his fiance but gave him four games. He changed the term, after TMZ released the tapes and public attention was high. If anybody needs to be a scapegoat and get fired, it's Goodell.

So a 275 pound 6 plus athlete, holding the arms of a psycho girlfriend whose attacking him, can't cause bruises to her arms? You see the irony in that? This same guy can only do enough damage to cause some bruises on here arms?

You mean dollars only have one meaning????

This is what you call pigeonholing an argument. You say they are concerned about losing money. I'm saying if you believe Hardy is a key element in your team winning, you would GAIN money.

You want to make it seem as if the only use for money is to LOSE it.

You have narrowed your argument to fit your purpose. But money ALSO is available to be made. And the Cowboys isn't going to give all that money to Hardy because they think they're going to lose money on him.

Go forth.

He was convicted you can dismiss that fact all you want but it is a fact. Damn you got your pass rusher, what he does really does not seem to matter. I done with it. I don't like him and as soon as he is off the team that will be even better. I will not pull for a guy just because he wears a Cowboys uniform. If league suspends him for 12 game fine if is 2 fine. He is the one who screw up it is on him Not Goodell or anyone else it is him. He is the problem

The court found him guilty there was enough evidence to charge him and convict him which he was, it was on the appeal once she reached a settlement that she left and the case was dismissed when they could not find her to even serve her with a subpoena to have her testify

Why do you think she bailed and did not show up? Because she got paid?

Dude...what was more important to her? A conviction for getting her arse whipped, or a bag of cash? If she had any moral obligation to curb this kind of behavior not only for all women but to help set a precedence that a man cannot pay you off if he kicks your arse , if indeed true, she would have gone to civil trial and possible got more money that what Hardy is accused of paying her. Not all women are gods gift to society.

So there's photos of both Hardy and the girlfriend with some type of injuries. Where's the evidence that proves Hardy did it? Don't insult our intelligence please.

If there's no evidence, then why are Charlotte and Garrett talking about redemption and learning from mistakes with Hardy? Don't insult our intelligence please.

I appreciate your fervor with regards to this issue. I would just point out the NC court system is a little unusual versus what is found in most parts of the country. Many of the Panthers fans I've seen post on other sites are quick to bring this up and are miffed about Hardy getting the book thrown at him by public opinion. The bench trial he had operates in a manner usually seen with a grand jury, meaning the judge looks at the evidence and decides if there is enough for a jury trial. If so, he finds guilt and the individual can then appeal to a jury trial. Before that trial he reached a settlement with her and she clammed up. The DA wanted to take it no further.

Their system is weird and I'm no lawyer so I can't guarantee this is an honest reckoning of how it works. It's just how I understand it from what I've read.
