In drafting a WR, I think we should look for one who could resemble TO in the way he plays within three years. Romo seems to excel in throwing seem routes and medium-deep crossing patterns and TO is very good at getting open on these routes. Physically, Adarius Bowman looks the part - though I'm not sure how his route-running measures up.
As far as a deep threat, I'm not sure we need the best one out there. Romo does not throw a lot of bombs and it isn't one of his strengths. We need a receiver to stretch the field and keep the defense honest - but I'm not sure it's needed as a feature point of the offense. For this reason, I like a guy like Stallworth - though maybe not Stallworth. If Glenn can be healthy and cheap-ish next season, we could draft a deep threat on day two - thinking Donnie Avery, Dorien Bryant or Willie Franklin.
