Haha, you're really overestimating Sanchez and underestimating Foles. Foles was averaging 290 yards/game and almost 2 TD's a game.

Sanchez averages about 200 yards a game over his career, and is a turnover machine. Foles may not be great, but he's serviceable in this league, whereas Mark Sanchez is a complete liability.

The level of QB play for the Eagles went from "average" to "bad". Sanchez is far from an average QB and will singlehandedly cost them at least one game this season.

I'm not complaining.

I'm not overestimating Sanchez or under selling Nick Foles, I think they're both average. It's the system of Chip Kelly's that I'm buying. If you put Nick Foles on the Jets he would look just as bad as any other QB that they've had, the guy is mediocre at best.

I'd pick Foles because of what I saw from him last year in Chip Kelly's system, but I would have chosen Michael Vick over Foles before I saw what Foles did last year.

I'd choose Foles as well. The difference between the two that I believe set them apart is Foles will stand in the pocket and take that hit while Sanchez will get rattled and throw the ball pematurely. Yes Foles has had his shares of INT's this season, but Sanchez has had them his entire career to include two in Chip's new offense.

With Nick Foles, that Jets team that kept going to the AFC Championship with Sanchez, probably would have won at least one Superbowl.

If you think the Dirty Sanchez is average, I don't think you know the Sanchez. Dude is awful.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how awful he is once teams start gameplanning for him.

One of those interceptions bounced off the receivers hands, the other one was his fault. Yes, Foles stands in the pocket but sometimes it's to his own detriment, because he'll still throw the ball while he's getting hit which has caused numerous fumbles and interceptions. Foles has one good trait, he throws a great deep ball.

I'm just of the mindset of, let's wait and see. I don't like predicting losses for other teams because of their problems when we have our own problems to fix.

Sanchez's trait is he throws a great ball to the defenders. INT is an INT. That's all that matters.

If you watch any eagles games and talk to any eagles fan, you'd realize that this is looked at as a positive for the eagles.

It's not surprising that fans think the backup is better than the starter. A lot of fans think they know more that coaches/GM's etc.. Doesn't mean they're right, though.

It is all that matters when you look at just the statistics, but when you watch the game you can see the difference.

Yup and I've seen plenty of games that suggest Sanchez will be no improvement over Foles. That dropoff will come to light when they have that deficit to overcome and you don't have Foles to give a hand like he did vs Indy.

I think Sproles had more to do with that win over the Colts than Foles did. In any case, I'll judge Sanchez by what he does in this system.

Right now they think there's no impact, wait until Sanchez plays like Sanchez. Lol.

Last week, Weeden didn't look too bad when he came in against the Washingtons. What a difference a week can make.

Who was throwing passes that night? Yup and he's off to a 2 int start in it. Wait until teams study him.

Here's to hoping for a Philly loss with a headline "Sanchez at it again"

Remains to be seen, but Sanchez has played better than Foles ever since he got to Philadelphia. Now, that's preseason and part of one game, but, he has. I think we're at least seeing that his play for the NYJ is probably not be the best measuring stick for Sanchez as a QB.

Weeden didn't look bad in preseason and for part of one game, either...

i think the missed PI call that was so blatant helped the eagles beat the colts. so so bad.

If Sanchez was better, he would be the starter.

The IGGLES have no vested money or contract in Foles. So they don't have to start him.

Every backup comes in and plays well. It's adrenaline. The game a backup starts is when the nerves come.

Sanchez will choke. I have no doubt.

This.

Not hard to thow screen passes and hand the ball off to a running back. Hopefully he does stink it up, I'm just not putting all of my eggs in that basket.
