Well there is the fact that those are 3 of the undisputed best comic book movies of all time. And this Man of Steel looks to be up in that category.CashMan;5050026 said:Based on what movies? Other than the 1st SM movie, the original 1989 Batman and TDK, what does DC have?

sorry guys
MARVEL >>>>>>> DC (in comics and in movies)
that is the order of the universe and DC fans just have to learn to be second best
the X Men and ironman movies blow out all other superhero movies
i like superman but my problem with the character is that he is just so powerful that no foe can defeat him and so you have to find things like kryptonite to artificially create a weakness
when his father says "in time they will join you" i can only assume he means in a billion years or so when humans develop super powers otherwise what does that even mean?

I can't even attribute any of the superhero movies to either brand. I just enjoy them if they are good, not so much if they are bad.
People will argue about anything and there always needs to be some sort of superior when it comes to the internet. Don't get it.

He was right in between the 70s and 80s but ever since the turn of the century Marvel started kicking but. CGI development really helped.stasheroo;5051085 said:You've been saying it alone.
It doesn't have to be either/or.
Both is better.
Are you talking about movies or comics?speedkilz88;5051092 said:He was right in between the 70s and 80s but ever since the turn of the century Marvel started kicking but. CGI development really helped.

No, he is talking about character. It isn't about having powers, but having certain characteristics that propel one to a good life. Superman will just be an inspiration, but humans won't need any powers of their own to join him.
