The Dallas Cowboys are interested in acquiring Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Joe Horn, according to Adam Schefter of the NFL.com.
Our View:With Terry Glenn still a question mark, Horn could come in and be a quality third wide receiver, backing up Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton.

Joe Horn will not attend any team functions that are voluntary as he continues to try and push the team into moving him to another club, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "When we open up [training] camp we anticipate Joe will be here," HC Mike Smith said.
Our View:Horn realizes that he will be nothing more than a spare part in Atlanta, but honestly, what did he expect after such limited success last season? At this point, he may not even be the team's WR3 with Roddy White, Laurent Robinson, Michael Jenkins and rookie Harry Douglas also in the fold.

Joe Horn stated on Monday that he would like to be traded rather than serve as a "just in case guy" with the Falcons this season, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Horn said, "I want to win a Super Bowl and I want to win a Super Bowl here in Atlanta, but I don't think I can help this team win a Super Bowl sitting on the bench, waiting for third down."
Our View:Roddy White is coming off a breakout season and Laurent Robinson is already projected to start opposite White. Michael Jenkins and promising rookie Harry Douglas are also going to be in the mix, and the 36-year old Horn knows he won't hold a significant role in Atlanta this season. He won't be satisfied by just mentoring the young receivers in 2008.

Joe Horn will be evaluated at the mini-camp three weeks prior to the 2008 NFL draft to see if he is a good fit as the No. 4 receiver in Atlanta, according to Pro Football Weekly. The report states that Roddy White, Michael Jenkins and Laurent Robinson are entrenched in the top three spots. The organization will likely burn a second-day draft selection on a wide receiver if they decide to part ways with Horn, who is well past his prime.
