2 years later, I still say, Jeff Fisher.

Although Russ Grimm (Asst HC in Pittsburgh) might be a good choice if the team plans to stick with the 3-4.

Bring in Ken and you will need a different offensive mindset, and go with Mike and growing pains.

Again, I will say it up here----for whatever reason, hypothetically speaking---if he is gone. He might be, or he might not be.

Jeff Fisher......He is a great coach, defensive minded being a Buddy Ryan diciple, and he would love a chance to actually have some talent to coach.

Fisher gets a bad rap because the Titans suck now, but most knowledgable people understand it is the Front Office that screwed that team up.

I have never heard/read anyone state that Fisher is a bad coach. However, I am sure he had some input in some of the decisions that his FO has made.

I think either Grimm or their current OC is gonna replace Cowher after the season however

he may have had input, but there is no doubt he got stuck with a few players he didnt want...Haynesworth, Pac Thug and Young all come to mind as guys he either didnt want at all or preferred someone else strongly over them

I have to laugh at those that claim the word is that Weis wants to leave for the pros- everytime you press for a source or anything to support that they have NOTHING. CW is not going anywhere for at least 4-5 years. He wants a NC real bad and since this year the talent is just not there- he has the QB and the WR but not much else- you are looking at least 2-3 to rebuild and get the next QB ready for a NC run.

Your right and plus he has publicly stated that he wants to be there until his son graduates from ND...

This guy seems like a stand up guy that will stick to his words.
