I find this hard to believe. I cannot get my mind off that 3rd and 21 play and the defense they lined up for that play. Rookie QB and they chose not to throw constant pressure at him and on that play, I would have brought the house. This defense needs to take more chances and be more aggressive. Maybe they will be when the secondary is healthy. But it is a must because they are truly horrible right now.

you got a fresh untested QB the first thing you do is pressure him; get in his face; go man on man with his WRs and force him into mistakes

IDC what anyone says but I would do cartwheels if they hired Tomlin. I think it was just over in Pittsburgh and it was time to move on, and so far Tomlin has won that decision.

They were going to assign Schotty as OC to whoever the next HC was after McCarthy, then decided he interviewed so well and Dak liked him so much, why not just make him the HC.

That's the pattern to look for with Jerry and Son:

1) Will he be cheap and not demand too much power
2) Will Dak approve (can't change too much about the offense)

The next head coach will be someone Jerry knows and has already been in the building. It's either that or a name from 10 years ago that used be highly regarded.

When Moore is fired from the Saints, he'll slot right in here. Outside shot, Wes Phillips.

There's really no point in expecting or hoping a hire like Flores. He'll be the Ben Johnson of this year's coaching cycle. Those candidates are not only not welcome here--because they are expensive and Jerry didn't 'discover' them--but likely don't want to come here either.
