Here is an argument for taking Zeke. With all of those backs next year, with us having ours now, that is more of the other positions falling to us as other teams take RBs higher in the draft.
It's still a year too early to go all in on a QB next year due to the length of Romo's contract.
I wanted a QB this year at 4. Didn't work out. They aren't gonna draft a guy this year and give up on him by next year or give up two years draft to get a top prospect without giving Dak a couple years. Not gonna happen
I predict that the value of RBs will go up if Dallas dominates with Zeke as expected. It is a copycat league and there will be teams that want to model themselves after a physical running game like Dallas.
if hes the best player you take him theres nothing wrong with being a quality backup which is what he can be (Dak is who I'm talking about) he'll be an good backup.................. to Deshaun Watson
We don't know that Watson will even be the top QB this year. Hackenberg was a top QB at one point. I also don't see us trading up for a QB the year following drafting a QB.
Take McCaffrey and play him at any position of need. I'm a fan and he's THAT good.
You are not taking McCaffrey after you just spend the 4th pick on Elliott in this draft. If they did that, it would be beyond stupid.
ok....... yall can go ahead and wait since you don't know I've already made my decision ,I knew when he was a freshman at Clemson when i saw him do what he did and how accurate his passes were even as a freshman I knew then i seen what i needed to see to know if he can translate to the next level
he was the best QB in College and i still haven't seen a QB yet in theses 2 years better still imo overall passing and running....
so after thinking a little bit more still, I haven't seen a QB in college yet that has made me rethink my position about Watson for the Dallas Cowboys so until then ..
Watson is guy I pulling for I actually hope the media hype up other dudes so he can come to us or drop
I doubt that happens tho but if it does with this roster goodness it may not be fair.. but that's just my opinion
I like Watson but I want to see if he continues to grow. But consider the cost of getting him. The better part of two drafts and I don't see them doing that before seeing if Prescott can be developed
I don't see mc as a RB but a playmaker. He is a fine return guy, dangerous reciever and solid runner.
add TN to that looks like they gonna pound the rock too so we'll see

He's primarily a TB. And you aren't taking a TB, regardless of his return skills, in the first round. You just aren't.
