I say stack the deck. Even if Dak shows promise, you still don't know how far he'll develop. Maybe he's the adequate backup we've been missing for so long. I'd still spend a premium pick on a rookie QB with promise if one is available. Let them compete and make each other better.

I might be completely off my rocker, but I have a sneaking suspicion Tapper is going to turn into a stud here. Honestly, he might be the draft pick that excited me the most.
