Hurtz cost the Eagles 1.1 mil in cap space this season. So yeah, they could be very, very aggressive.

Dallas spent their wad on Dak and Zeke folks. Deal with it.

For the 3rd straight year, the NFC champion will be a team that was extremely aggressive in free agency and trades in the off-season
  • 2020- Tampa Bay- signed Tom Brady, T Joe Haeig, TE Ron Gronkowski as FAs, and franchise tagged LB Shaq Barrett. Won the SB.
  • 2021- LA Rams- made a whopping 8 trades including trading Jared Goff and two 1sts and 3rd round pick to the lions for Matt Stafford. Traded two day two picks for Von Miller, and signed FA Odell Beckham, Jr. Won SB.
  • 2022- Philly- eagles were super aggressive in off-season signing FA LB Haason Reddick, and 3 other defensive starters, and acquired WR AJ Brown in a trade with Tenn. The eagles were the most aggressive team last off-season. Their defense went from 29th in sacks to 1st in one year.
Meanwhile Stephen Jones reminds Cowboys fans of his concerns about staying under the cap and that “we like our guys”. In the last 6 years, Philly has won a SB, completely rebuilt its roster and is in a position to win another.

It’s certainly arguable that the main reason the Cowboys could not make it to the NFC championship game this yr had a lot to do with what they DID NOT DO

It’s fun to do this every year…….

Dak is the sole reason, Sorry.

Fans on this board laughed at the Eagles offseason saying they overpaid for Brown, Reddick was just decent, etc.

Philly will likely be aggressive again this offseason as they are going to have rework their roster a bit again.

Us? We'll do the same exact lame *** bullspit we've done for a decade because Jerry and Stephen are just clueless.
They have to sign Hurts they will lose alot this offseason to keep him

San Fran is a home grown team a well; they would of been in the SB if Purdy hadn't made a business decision.

If they would just get some DTs, WR a whole lot of problems would be solved.
Also, do something with Zeke.

They actually don't. Like we did with Dak, they will likely backload his deal and Hurts' cap hit that first and maybe second year won't be that big.

Dallas better have a plan to get much better this offseason or they are going to be staring at the Eagles butts again in 2023.

Several teams have overpaid players. Matt Stafford makes about what Dak does. As of 2022 Dak is the 9th highest paid QB. And while he certainly deserves criticism for his play at times this year, his contract is NOT why this team hasn’t done anything in FA.
Don't be surprised if Howie Roseman still finds a way to keep a stacked roster around Jalen Hurts, even after he gets paid. Stephen and Jerry Jones will keep on doing what they are doing, in part because they know how some fans will completely place the blame on the QB, while giving the front office a free pass. So for as long as fans put all of the blame on the QBs, all of the time, the Joneses won't feel the need to change.

Fans should be both calling Dak out for his horrible play, while still holding the front office accountable for their 3 decades of failure.

Chew on this.

Philly has had 4 coaches since 2000. Three of the four have taken the Eagles to SBs.

Dallas has had 6 coaches since 2000. None have sniffed a NFCCG game.

Jerry doesn't just have issues building a roster, he sucks at hiring HCs.
