I love RGIII as a player, but you're mistaken if you think he's not going to do things to get his team beat in big games in his career.

I don't think he said anything about RG3 never doing anything to get his team beat in his career...I think he was meaning Griffin didn't do anything to get his team beat in that one game.

I don't like ranking players to begin with, since the only thing that matters is 'is he good enough to win a Superbowl.' The NFCE has three players right now who, in my opinion, are. I happen to like Romo's current skill set the best. I'd take RGIII over all of them given his age, and I think Eli is a pretty dang good QB who's spotty and generally overrated because he happens to play on a team with a very good defensive front that's capable of shutting down the other guys' passing game.

Speaking from insane personal experience, having a defense that can shut down the opposition doesn't suddenly make a QB become efficient and effective...just check out the Commanders' 2004 season stats for proof lol. Eli earned his praise during those SB runs. The guy was money.

It does help you win the close games, though. And Eli's not always efficient or effective.

He did earn his reputation in those playoff runs. He played really well. He's still not the best QB in the East, or among the very best in the league in my opinion.

I'm not sure I could say who the best QB in the NFC East is, to be honest...

With a better team--from head coach on down--Romo would look noticeably better, mainly because I think that "better team/coach" would have better masked his flaws and given his talents better opportunities to shine. But he's still not a great game manager.

I just can't sweep Eli's two SB runs in the playoffs under the rug and put more emphasis on some bad games in October and November. Yet his inconsistency keeps him from earning the top spot outright.

RG3's small sample size is what keeps him from being #1...stat-wise, he quite literally put together the most efficient season of any QB in NFL history (and that's not hyperbole). At the same time, experience as a fan shows that it's consistency that makes you great, and we have zero knowledge if Griffin has the ability to be consistent over 5+ years...or, hell, over 2 consecutive seasons for that matter.

The Eagles' stable of QBs hardly warrant discussion at this point.

I don't have you on ignore just been ignoring you but when you post lies just to get a response I'm going to call you on it. Go find a post where I claimed I had 8 million people following me. Care to make a wager that I said that? Let's see the post and the link to the thread. :D

You know exactly what I'm talking about. So does someone else that I won't mention. Deny it all you want.

And, have a good day.

I have no idea what you're talking about and no one else does either this is just part of your agenda to try and get a response from me. You've been trying everyday for the past month to stir things up and devised this. It's not about my posts it's about me it's personal with you. I've been ignoring your many replies for weeks because all you've been doing is trying to incite responses from me after a comment I made several weeks ago upset you.

You know exactly what I'm talking about. LOL Because I haven't been responding to any of your attempts to get a response you started thinking I might have you on ignore so you decided to post some complete BS to find out knowing I would call you on a lie. Your ploy worked you got me to respond the only problem is you can't back up your claim because it was a lie. :p If I said something as ridiculous as you claimed you would post the comment and the link with no hesitation...nuff said!

Wait, I wanna see the thread where he said that lol...(seriously).

I would also love to see the thread so I can find out where these 8 million followers are. LOL This new board format has a feature where members can follow you and I don't have a single follower so I'm trying to figure out how I came up with 8 million somewhere else.

I love RGIII as a player, but you're mistaken if you think he's not going to do things to get his team beat in big games in his career. The fans 'making excuses' for Romo are just fans who understand what a really good QB he is.

I never said RG3 wouldn't do anything to get his team beat in big games in his "career" I was referring to the season finale last season in which he didn't do anything to get his team beat in that game. He'll lose some big games during his career just like all QB's do but the key for any QB is to not make a habit of losing big games. It's developing a trend for losing big games that's put a negative light on Romo. The FANS who always make excuses for Romo are the ones who feel sorry for him because he receives in their minds all of the blame for every loss the Cowboys have. Not every mistake can be pinned on Romo but some are his mistakes and some refuse to blame him for any of the ones that are clearly on him. Romo isn't as bad as some of his haters make him appear and he's isn't as great as some of his lovers think he is.

He's an excellent QB who's skill set is better than Eli's. He's a more athletically gifted QB than Eli but he's always struggled with decision making especially in big games. He hasn't shown the ability to bounce back from mistakes in big games or handle big game pressure. Romo and Eli are comparable because both have struggled with turnovers due to poor decision making. The difference is that Eli has been able to elevate his game in big games and avoid the mistakes that have hurt him in less meaningful games during the regular season. Eli had 27 turnovers in 07 compared to 21 for Romo but Eli only turned the ball over once in the playoffs and SB that season.

In 2011 Eli had 20 turnovers compared to 13 for Romo but in the playoffs and SB Eli again only turned the ball over once. Romo appears to get rattled easily in big games which causes him to press and lose his poise after a mistake. This results in his game coming apart. Eli on the other hand is like cool hand Luke the bigger the game the more steady he plays. Nothing seems to faze Eli he's a great big game QB a lot better than his brother. RG3 has the potential to be by far the best QB in the division IF he can stay healthy. He's going to have to become a more productive passer and learn how not to take the big shot or he won't have a long career. He'll end up concussion prone or hobbling around with bad knees by the time he's 28 if he doesn't learn how to avoid the big shots.

KJJ, this is the last time I will respond to this, but, you know as well as I and the other person. It was not done in a thread or a post. So, do what you do and this is the last time I bring it up...if you want to deny that, that's fine also. It's really no big deal because it was so outlandish in the first place.

So, again, have a good day. (oh, yeah, I could back it up, but I choose not to...maybe the other person will validate it, I don't know).

Anyway, over and out! ;)

You know as well as I do it wasn't done in a thread, post or anywhere else you made it up because you have an agenda. If you of all people think you have any inside information on me that know one else does you're kidding yourself. You have an issue with me and anyone who's been around here long enough knows it. There's hardly a day that's gone by the past few weeks that you haven't responded to something I've said in an inciting manner to get a response. This is just another attempt but you've gone overboard this time crossing the line into ridiculous.

It's not my posts you're focused on it's me. Here I am talking football and out of the complete blue you're claiming I said I had 8 million daily followers. o_O You're making this silly claim simply to get a response to see if I had you on ignore. Go back and read your original post. LOL Everyone knows the quickest way to get a response from someone who's ignoring them is to post a lie. It's this kind of crap that has me ignoring you. The other person you're referring to (your tag team buddy) probably has an even bigger issue with me than you which is why you formed an alliance with him. Neither you or him are credible. He hasn't posted much since his agenda was exposed several weeks ago.

He ruined his reputation by attributing comments to me and others that he couldn't prove when challenged and now is having trouble being taken seriously here. One thing you learn from arguing topics with fans online if you get under the skin of someone enough and really anger them they'll go to extremes to get back at you. If they can't find anything in your postings to slam you with they'll twist what you have posted or completely fabricate something. This is a "post board" if someone can't provide proof that a comment was posted it didn't happen. Nothing I say goes past this board.

OK. KJJ, I will let you come clean on this if you want me to post what you wrote. I really don't want to embarrass you because I actually like you. Then you can tell all of us what that PM was all about. And, it was a PM, so that is why I did not want to post it in the first place. If you want me too, I will post it and then you can clarify what was said or not said...your call,

:D

There's nothing to come clean about you're making it up. I've never exchanged a PM with you and if you want to fabricate one and post it see how far it will get you. :D BTW you accidentally liked my post. LOL

this was a very tough one.

if RG3 was completely healthy i'd rather have him; but he isn't.
eli has won 2 SBs but hard to ignore his numbers last year.
QB rating only in the 90s twice. (Romo has been 90 or higher every year of his career)
vick is great if you only needed 4 games per year.
