I'm definitely not a homer but Cowboys will finish 1st in the NFC East again.

Here is why.

Philadelphia Eagles are loaded and just like before when they were called the Dream Team they folded up faster than a lawn chair. The major reason Eagles why is they aquired Kenny Pickett this offseason and he has been outplaying Hurts in camp. QB Controversy as soon as Hurts struggles. Will divide the team. A J Brown has bulked up,he will lose speed because of this. Brown wasn't that fast in the first place. Several defenders are not living up to their status( Jordan Davis,Nolan Smith) Too much expected from them and they will fold.

New York Giants- Giants always look good on paper but the games they fold. Daniel Jones brings little confidence to take them far. Take note Jones recovering from an injury could make this team continue to struggle.

Washington Commanders- Dan Schneider was a good hire and stripping Dallas of Biadiaz & Armstrong and drafting Jayden Daniels could make bright future. Got some parts in position, but too many holes still to make it to 1st in the East.

Cowboys low expectations especially at RB. But it will not be Elliott as a game changer. It will be either Dowdle or Davis. Bland & Diggs are the best CB duo in the NFL both are ballhawks. Now if Boys move Parsons all over that means Sam Williams and his 4.4 speed coming off the end more. Overshown is back and he will be another stud causing havoc. Kneeland has a high motor. DT Odighizuwa is going into a final contract year so will be making plays. Mazi Smith is back at 330 lbs to anchor.....DON'T SLEEP ON US!! Cowboys win the East. Hopefully to Superbowl this year.
That is typical wishful thinking exhibited by every NFL fan base this time of year. No one has called this iteration of the Eagles a “dream team”. Hoping the rest of the division somehow figures out a way to fail so the Cowboys end up in first is the most “homer” crap there is. The truth is the Eagles will win about as many as last year. Washington will begin to show signs of life but is likely going to come in last with their rookie QB. The Giants with Daboll and a quarterback that has some significant experience will be better than expected. And the Cowboys, who have made the least effort in the off season addressing needs than the other three teams in the division will be hard pressed to qualify for a wild card spot in the playoffs. But for having to play in Brazil, the Eagles have a less challenging schedule than the the Cowboy. And if you want locker room issues, try showing a lack of commitment to your coaching staff and most critical players by not giving any of them contracts beyond the current season. Hoping Brown slows down because he’s put on muscle is really a ridiculous comment. Thinking Pickett is anything more with the Eagles than he was with the Steelers is giving the Eagles coaching staff more credit than they’ll ever deserve.

Yeah I saw his 58 year old pictures and he looked like a demon lol.
From what I've just culled through in Wikipedia and other sources, Schneider has wrought demonic behavior on associates, colleagues, employees, etc., throughout his career in the entertainment profession \ world.

It's way too early for this, but I'll give my current opinion.

Cowboys and Eagles will both finish 11-6, going 5-1 in the East. Dak's stat padding will lead to the Cowboys winning some sort of points-based tie breaker. Both teams have a large DT with something to prove this season (Davis, Mazi). Eagles will be running out two rookie DB's, but with the high school coaching of their two coordinators gone, I suspect they will be better. If the Hurts of 2022 shows up, the Eagles will take the East with that stacked offense. If not, the Boys will repeat. I suspect the NFCE winner gets the 3rd seed, with the second-place team getting the 5th seed. I also believe that Hurts will be gone if he repeats last year's performance. Moving off of that Hurts contract would be tough, but Roseman always seems to find some idiot GM to give him a hand.

Washington? Jayden Daniels looks like Randall Cunningham: a slender 6'4", 210 (alright, Randall was listed at 212) and has his moves. What Daniels doesn't have is Cunningham's howitzer arm, one of the strongest in the history of the game. Daniels had issues with deep throws in college, and that simply isn't going to magically disappear. Washington has good skill players at WR, promising RB's, an average o-line, and a new staff with a rookie QB. Third place it is.

The Giants will be fighting for a top three pick in the 2025 draft. They have the worse QB room in the league. Their o-line gets violated more than the average porn star. They have one receiver with talent, and he is a rookie. They lost most of their offense when Barkley went to Philly. Last place it is.

It's wishful thinking. Logic would dictate that putting a slightly inferior product on the field this year, and having a tougher schedule would not result in 11 wins. However, a lot of moving pieces, and a lot can happen. Draft picks, players from last year either coming back or stepping up can make a huge difference.

A similar thing happened between the transition from 2013 to 2014. No one expected that team to even make the playoffs, let alone go 12-4. I think ESPN had them going 6-10. The highest I remember was 8-8.
Dak is great in regular season
Dak is great in Mccarthys system in regular season
Zimmer defense will get less TOs but will be more disciplined and better IMO than Quinn

11-6 with rd 1 exit as usual is very realistic

Dak is great against the Giants and Washington. Against Carolina, New England, and the Jets. Once the competition gets a little tougher it's touch and go. Once the competition is at its highest, he absolutely sucks during the regular season.

His worst games came against the Cardinals, 49ers, Bills and Giants lol….its not like there’s some consistent trend. Philly, Rams, Lions and Dolphins were all playoff teams he played well against.

I think 10 wins get you the East this season. The Cowboys will be the same team but will play a tougher schedule. The Eagles on paper look great but I am always wary of football teams that pay all their players (Cowboys 2008, Washington during the Norv Turner era, and Eagles dream team). You need hungry youngsters fighting to make a name for themselves. Washington will be the funnest team in the East. With Quinn as coach they will make big plays offensively and defensively. They will also give up plays too. The Giants have a really good front 4. Maybe the best starting defensive line in the division. Their problem is they need a glue guy and a smart guy on their offensive line.

The Giants are not the same as Bills, Cards, 49ers. The game was over against the Giants at halftime. They could have run the ball on every play in the second half and Dallas still would have won. The other 3 teams punched the Cowboys in the mouth, got up early, and the Cowboys laid down.

Dallas was the only good team the Dolphins beat all year. I was on the edge of my seat the entire game against Detroit. We put up a stunning 20 points. Thank the defense for that win.

I don't care if the Rams were a playoff team. They're a fluff team. Almost half the league makes the playoffs. Saying someone is a playoff team doesn't hold much weight anymore. At what point do you stop insinuating a playoff team is something special? When 50% of the league makes the playoffs? Maybe 75%?

The Eagles. Yeah we beat them at home during their 6 game losing streak or whatever it was. We beat them. Seattle beat them. The Giants beat them. But when we played them in Philly Dallas spit the bit. Couldn't score on that final drive. Then when we got a gift at the end of the game, 1st and goal from the 6, what happened? We choked.

I mean I thought we were talking about the games Dak played well in. If you’re arguing the Cowboys didn’t beat quality opponents I agree to an extent.
