It’s going to be Zeke. The fact he’s still unsigned means his contract will be pretty low, and he’s not sitting out 2023. If offers are comparable, there’s no reason he doesn’t come back.

What contender can offer more playing time? he already lives there, knows the team, Dak is his guy, he knows the GM favors him. It’ll be Zeke.
I hated Zeke….at that contract. Around the minimum it’s a totally different thing.

I bet Swift has a really good year behind that OLine and they let him walk and get a comp pick for him. That's seems to be their strategy.
But I have no idea what the heck Detroit was thinking. They had 2 first round picks and are an up and coming team and select a RB and a MLB? Dumb. Just really dumb.
Detroit was thinking that they just drafted Jamar Gibbs dude.

I feel like it’s only done to make Eagles #1 lol. Because Barkley is the best and then Pollard. A lot of those names listed won’t even matter this season.
Lol take off your tinfoil hat. For example, Movin the Chains, Sirius nfl best program is spending the entire off season going over ‘rooms’. This week it’s the inside linebacker room. They give a lot of a groups score to depth.

If the starters become injured, it becomes very relevant. That’s why it says rotations.
It’s more than that. at running back the starter probably only gets like 60% of the steps… so, even if everyone’s healthy depth is key

Having said that, in looking at some of the more advanced stats from 2022, I could see some regression in Hurts.
I hope so… Their idiot coach was talking about him looking like he’s made another step forward

I don’t think the Eagles have the best running back group but they have the best running attack because of Hurts. Danny Dimes can run too…dude had 700 yards rushing last season.
Yeah, I agree. But that kind of scares me. if Penny stays healthy, he could be a monster. He averaged over 6 yards I carry on the Seahawks… What would he do with hurts and that ol.

Penny hasn't been worth a single red cent since he entered the league, no worse of a stab than Dallas signing RJ.

Who ranks RB rotations?

Do they do this for all positions?
Yes, several sites. One is the Bleacher Report. Some of those authors are actually top shelf smart and posted formerly here on site.

I don’t disagree that we should have drafted a RB. Where I disagree is thinking Pollard is a traditional RB because of his price tag. In my book he’s a “hybrid” weapon not in the mold of typical RB. He should be measured by stats like number of plays of 20+ yards, TDs, yards per touch, etc- not yards per carry.

Where I think we are currently vulnerable on this roster is having a reliably powerful runner in the traditional sense. Maybe Malik Davis emerges. I have my doubts about Ronald Jones. Deuce Vaughn will be more like Pollard in whatever role he plays.
Now, backs need to be a major component in the passing attack, and more often than not they are best as part of a rotation that limits the wear and tear on their bodies. Certainly there are exceptions to the rule, but the last five years or so have seen the idea of a workhorse back become more rare. So who are the best backs in the league? That’s an eternal debate for every position, but here we’ll put the halfbacks and tailbacks in a mixer and see who sits atop the totem entering 2023.
