Looking better. Win the Indy game and we're pretty much in; not 100% tho.

Wow. Thinks really closed down for those 5 and 6 seeds for the NFCE teams this week. Better win out.

Sitting at 10-4 and we have a 10% chance at a bye. That's beyond insane

If the playoffs started tomorrow.................................Dallas would be the number 3 seed and would host the number 6 seed.....................Packers:thumbdown:

Just our luck to get the Pack in the 1st round, but hell of a lot better than watching from the couch.

EDIT*****the Eagles have now dropped to the 7th seed and are no longer in the playoffs.

We can beat the pack at home(gulp), maybe even on the road.....just hope it is above 50 degrees!

In a 3 way tie at 12-4 with Packers and Seattle, what are the order of first 3 seeds?

The head-to-head records are

Dallas 1-0
Seattle 1-1
Packers 0-1

Does this rule apply?

Edit: Well damn. The simulator says the ONLY way Dallas gets the #1 seed is if Chicago beats Detroit, Detroit beats Green Bay and Seattle wins out. Very unlikely to happen.

Dallas gets #2 if Seattle beats Arizona and loses to St. Louis, Detroit loses to Chicago and Green Bay. (We are not going to assume Green Bay loses to Tampa Bay). So this scenario is pretty slim-to-none as well.

Most likely 12-4 nets us the 3 seed. But that's ok. I think we can be effective in the playoffs regardless of seed.

Looks like either Green Bay or Detroit for the first round home game. More likely Detroit, as I think that Green Bay will get their revenge from earlier in the year. At least I hope...a first rounder against the Packers might not be so great. That of course assumes that Dallas wins the East.

That seems probable. Speaking of revenge, I think we owe the Lions something.

It is just incredible that after a huge win like last night that there is still a way to miss the playoffs.

I know. I really want to be pumped up about the game but I still fear next week

Whatever you do, do not play around with those playoff generators. It will make you see how tenuous things are and how a loss next week really makes it difficult to get in.

For all intents and purposes, the Eagles need to lose again for either of the Cowboys two remaining games to lose relevance thanks to their divisional record.

I am not too confident of our home games anymore, maybe we can start changing that trend with a win against the Colts next week.

Do you realize how silly that sounds? If you can do it on the road, you can do it at home.

Idc what they record is at home. They've played better teams at home and it's not close.
