Looking at the ESPN playoff scenario tool, it appears that, in week 17, if we beat WAS and DET beats GB, we're in the playoffs no matter what happens in any other game over the next two weeks. Do they have that right?
Not that the Lions beating the Packers in Lambeau is likely, but I didn't realize there was such a simple path to the wild card.
Az is in.
If Seattle wins out, they are in.
GB or Detroit are in. If either wins one more game, they are both in.
The Winner of the South is in.
That means that if we lose one game and Philly wins out, they are in and we are out.
We have to win out to insure we make the playoffs. Doesn't matter what anybody else does.
It says in that scenario we win tie breaker based on record vs common opponents
It's correct . We'd have the tie breaker based on common opponents .
It's not correct. If we lose to Indy and Philly wins out, they go to the Playoffs, we go home.

They are talking about the last WC, not the division. We can lose to Indy and still have a minute chance to get in.
Only if we lose to Indy and beat Washington. If we beat Indy but lose to Washington, GB holds the tiebreaker against us.Green Bay would need to lose to Detroit, and finish 11-5. GB would lose the tie breaker to Dallas, and Dallas would be traveling to Philly in the first round.
