NFCE Remaining Schedule

I think we are lucky to be getting them on short rest traveling to our place. I don't want to see them make the playoffs. Hopefully Cousins reverts back to his old form. Barring that I that I think there will be 3 NFCE teams in the playoffs this year.

The NFCE is so good this year it will probably cost us the number 1 seed. If we manage to earn the number 1 seed, then the Super bowl will be a cakewalk. New England is lucky that Dallas, Seattle, Washington and New York are all on the other side of the bracket. There is little chance New England could easily beat two of them to advance to the Super Bowl and beat the third team to win it all. The Patriots are not the team to beat. They might be 4th or 5th at the writing of this post. They look quite vulnerable.

Belichick and Tom Brady have the experience of six Super Bowls compared to anyone playing or head coaching for Washington or Dallas. I doubt they would be worried about us or Washington.
They beat Seattle. New York would be the only team with a psychological advantage over New England with Eli having beaten Brady twice.
Oh, and the Patriots have never been blown out in a Super Bowl with Brady.
Don't sell them short.

I didn't realize that we don't have the usual 10 days off after TG before we play the Vikes. Evidently we play on Thursday night again next week. Then we get 10 days rest before the NYG game.
Interesting.

Philly is 4-0 at home and plays the entire east at home still. The team that loses at Philly could end up being the one out.

It's so ironic that the media was calling the NFC East the softest division in the NFL and they have proven to be the strongest and most competitive.

It is also interesting that Seattle only had to play one of the NFC East teams this season, the weakest one, it seems.

we need to win out to clench home field adv AND win the division with the way NYG and WAS are playing

PHI is donezo
Actually, we clinch HFA if we do no worse that 5-1. We're 1 1/2 games up on Seattle due to their tie, and they're our closest competition for HFA.

Crazy how the season is shaping up and how the NFC East turned into such a powerhouse. Never seems like an easy road for Dallas does it? 9-1 and we are still having to look over our shoulder.

My main worry is getting a lose out of the way. Where do you want it? It's hard to sustain winning consecutively in the NFL. I don't want to keep rolling and have the magic run out at the wrong time, ala NE and Carolina, when they just steamrolled the season and into the Super Bowl and then their magic potion ran out.

3 or 4 wins can clinch HFA. 3 wins will take the division and earn a 1st rd bye.

Seattle beat the Patriots a week ago.

I'm selling them short right now. LOL. There, I said it!!

Just looked at the Seattle's schedule and they could run the table. The Panthers and Cards have the best shot of beating them and then maybe the Bucs.

Looking at the NFC standings and the NFCE occupy 3 of the top 4 spots. Crazy.

1. Dallas
2. Seattle
3. NYG
4. Washington

Never discount the Rams against Seattle. Rams have won the last 3 matchups.

Thinking the Commanders and Cowboys have the toughest remaining schedule and the Eagles have the easiest. Giants have 4 road games but one of the is @Cle so that it is a gimmie but @Pit, @Phl, and @WA are not so they still have a tough schedule.

CLE will beat someone. And NYG is sleepwalking right now, ripe for an upset, as bad as they played vs. CHI.

At this point why would Cleveland want to beat anyone? The top pick in the draft is worth more to them than a win would be.

Just trading back one spot to the second overall pick would be worth a lot. Maybe as high as a second or third round pick for that one spot. I will have to check out the trade value chart and see what the actual value is but one win means nothing to them.

According to one draft value chart, trading from the first pick to the second pick would cost the team moving up the second overall pick, plus the third, fourth and fifth round picks.

That's how much difference there is at the top of the draft. If teams trade back multiple times you could see how the overall number one pick could be parlayed numerous times in separate trade back scenarios and they could still get an impact player at around number 10 overall.

The Gmen continue to play some ho-hum football and win close uninpressive wins.

The Eagles will go as far as Wentz takes them. He seems to have regressed some and is not nearly the athlete Dak is.

The 'Skins are dangerous at times. If they play Thursday at our place as well as they did Sunday night, we better bring out A game.
Wentz hasn't regressed, people are just comming to realize he isn't God

Our schedule is pretty comparable to Gint's schedule. Both teams have to play 3 other divisional opponents. Their easiest game is @Cleveland and ours is TB at home. We both play Detroit at home. They have to play @Pittsburgh and we have to play @Minny.

If anything we actually may have a little easier schedule than the Gint's.
