And here's the really cool thing about any and all of it.... in just a few months, we get to see if any of it is worth the sweat poured into it.
Footwork, release, timing and accuracy. Get those things worked out and we should be good to go.We'll see. If he works on his footwork ect he should be excellent. Has all the leadership skills.

Dak wasn't a good passer in high school.
Dak wasn't a good passer in college.
Dak isn't a good passer in the NFL so far.
But he's going to turn into Joe Montana any minute now.
Sounds like a plan.
When you’re a team trying to win a SB, at some point in the postseason, you’ll run into an opponent whose defense gives your offense problems. Having a good defense yourself means you have a chance to keep the score close until your offense can get on track.
Without at least an above-average defense, it’s highly unlikely you’ll win a SB.
I sure hope so, this year will be a make or break.Go Dak
Anyone who can lead Mississippi State to first in the nation with no supporting cast can certainly play football very well. That fact alone should have probably made him at least a second rounder.
hey verdict. Do you mean a mid season ranking?
They ended the following seasons (AP and BCS))
2013..unranked, unranked
2014...11th, 7th
2015...unranked, unranked
He was very good, either way. But they never finished number 1 or won the SEC...and finished unranked more often than not.
Oh, I realize they got "ranked" #1 at one point. In some circles the tale as grown to where some are saying they were actually a number one team...which is a gigantic difference. In 2014, they had a stretch at No. 1, then lost 3 of their last 4 games. They did beat A&M and Auburn that year in back-to-back games.

Facts. Undisputable. In 2014, they had a stretch at No. 1, then lost 3 of their last 4 games. They did beat A&M and Auburn that year in back-to-back games.
So they hit #1 in the nation. Quite an accomplishment given the lack of anything around Dak that year. So what's your point? I'm kinda curious. Are you disputing that they did indeed hold the #1 spot for a period of time?Oh, I realize they got "ranked" #1 at one point. I remember they excitement for them (and Ole Miss) in 2014. As the season went on, reality occurred. No fault of Dak's.
And that 2014 Miss St team had several NFL players. They weren't jags. Even finished 7th after the bowls. Great season
Then, when the talent dropped off the next year, they were back to being an unranked team.
It was misleading. Not to mention, polls are wildly subjective and speculative. So they hit #1 in the nation. Quite an accomplishment given the lack of anything around Dak that year. Yeah but one could easily argue that, without Dak, the "getting to #1" run never happens. It was misleading. Not to mention, polls are wildly subjective and speculative.
Voters thought they did something by beating #2 Auburn. Then, Auburn lost 5 of their last 8.
Losing to Ole Miss and Georgia Tech to finish the season exposed Miss. State.
No, not at all.So they hit #1 in the nation. Quite an accomplishment given the lack of anything around Dak that year. So what's your point? I'm kinda curious. Are you disputing that they did indeed hold the #1 spot for a period of time?
