i use crack streams, and then it changed to meth streams. I don’t know who names these things, but lol that’s works for me. I just don’t know how you get four at once.
I have 4 different firesticks plugged into each display. I sometimes use xfinity and stream the local game and the others are streaming different games using streameast.

I have Direct TV for 3 more weeks and then its gone. They called me yesterday trying to throw me a bone of Free Showtime for 90 days, and I told them to pound sand and that I was cancelling as soon as the season was over. I see all Sat TV going away. Long as folks can get a high quality stream, there is no reason. Also the wife is tired of that dish setting on the roof and the fact whenever we get hard rain or snow we loose signal. That doesn't count the fact if you get a few inches on snow on the dish you are screwed royally.

I had directv for a long time...had some other satellite service before them,, cant remember what it was called. But back then we got east coast network feeds as well as west coast and that gave us a bunch of games for free. I loved directv, was always getting the latest and greatest upgrades for free... Tivo was the best, then HD tivo, then directv screwed it up and introduced their ow DVR that wasnt nearly as good as Tivo. AT&T ruined direct tv and once I figured out the internet could handle my NFL issues and they screwed up my billing once they combined AT&T with Directv, I finally had enough and cancelled about 3 years ago. It was a sad day for me, but I knew AT&T would eventually ruin directv, and they did.

I just signed up for YouTube learning how to navigate it. My new NFL Sunday ticket I guess. Stream East doesn’t work for me for some reason. I have to use Methstreams

Crack streams was great. I have bet sheets with my friends and I used to watch 4 games at a time. But they are gone now. Did meth streams take over?

I didnt know it was a disaster. Ive had zero issues with Amazon's games.
I think he means a disaster as far as less viewers. And I suspect he’ll be right about losing viewers from Direct TV to YouTube .

I’ve been with Direct TV since it’s inception over 25 years ago and was offered Sunday Ticket free as a loyalty to stay on about every other year or so. And since I have AT&T I get unlimited data watching DirectTV on any device. It’s awesome everywhere I go. !!

I even passed on Prime . But I am getting my free month so I can watch the Cowboys game next Thursday. Besides a few cool documentaries and a couple current movies don’t see much else there that interest me . Netflix is all I subscribe to and just begun it during Covid .

Direct TV has all of the College Fox channels too. And has all of the good movie channels like HBO& Showtime . And I have it wired on multiple TV’s not only in game room but throughout the house.

I just won’t watch as many NFL games anymore. Saturday is my more enjoyable day anyway. I’m fine with it. I get the game I want on Sundays anyway.

YouTube, the picture is so much better than DIRECT TV. I just did it today $65 a month. Not bad I don’t know how much your game will be.

I have YouTubeTV for now. Probably get rid of it after the Football season. But it's around 80 bucks a month including the sports package.

DTV has never had more than 15 million subscribers at any time. I'm actually not sure it'll be fewer potential viewers overall. More people have access to the internet and therefore could get a YouTubeTV subscription.

Was hoping that it would go to Amazon for general viewership, was waiting for Bezos to take over the entire planet...lol
Not sure how this association with YouTube is going to play out, it comes down to brass tacks for the consumers...
Better be more affordable somehow, or the interest will be no more than what DTV was entertaining.

I am a YoutubeTV subscriber and I feel soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good because

That 730pm OT rule on NFL Redzone makes no damm sense and I no longer need to watch it
Directv had the Sunday Ticket on Lockdown for over 30 years and its so good to finally be able to see every game on Sundays

Me either. It's perfectly fine for me. But I've talked to people that have had problems. The only time I've had problems streaming is when I used to use the NFL app. Remember when they used to let you watch nationally televised games? Now they want money. Always had constant buffering or dropping off completely. I just deleted that app as it is redundant.

how is that going to work. I am not sure I can get Youtube on some of my older Tvs

If you can afford NFL Sunday ticket, you should be able to afford a firestick. They are like $60 and will plug into anything but a furniture TV.

While I think Directv overall is expensive.. I absolutely hate the idea of piece-mealing my TV channels. EVERYBODY is charging a fee to watch their programming and in the end, it'll end up costing the same amount as I pay now. I never had Sunday Ticket til they started giving it to me free. So when it goes bye-bye, I won't miss it.
