It is how I watch 4 games at the same time today.... with no sunday ticket:)
They can’t be out of market games, without streaming from a backseat I don’t know how you’re doing that

$200?? of course it is. My timing is always awesome. I purchased one of the original satellite dishes in the 1980s to watch games. I paid $3000 for it and it was like a flying saucer. Two years later, the dishes were smaller and less than half the price. a few years after than mine was obsolete. ten years ago, I purchased the best plasma on the market. two years later it was obsolete. Two years ago I bought a 77 inch LG OLED TV and paid $4200. It is now $3600 at best buy. SMH. my timing always sucks.
well stop buying new tech.... wait 5 years later than buy it cheap.

The product has devolved????? You talking the NFL product or the Sunday Ticket itself?

The NFL product on the field. At one point I would have paid for Sunday ticket. Right now I would not. But again, just my opinion. If you think the product now is better than the 90s or early 2000's, that's great. I don't. The game is way less physical to me.

how long is delay from streaming. If it buffers at any point the game could be over while I ams sitll in the 3rd quarter.
have you watched any game this year on Thursday night???? Damn, the sky is not falling. Changes in technology are inevitable. Things get better not worse. I can now stream on firesticks using wireless to any TV in my house and I can place that TV anywhere I want to vs in the past when you were limited to the location where the wires were coming out of your wall. I have a 120", 55", 40" and 32" screens watching 4 games at the same time every weekend now. I couldnt have done that 10 years ago.

But I've almost always gotten it for free from DTV.
I got it free every other year. So basically half the list price. I will miss the simplicity and convenience of using my Directv remote to scroll thru at least a dozen games each week.

honestly for specific primary use, i buy the top of the line that i can get at the time and plan to keep it for a while....I bought an 85 inch fully backlit samsung for my movie theater, it was ~4200 when i bought it and probalby is closer to 3K now; but i wont need to replace it until the 100 inch versions are out and its the most incredible picture i have ever seen.

A lot also depends on use - while i spent that much for my movie theater (2 row 8 seat, 800 sqfoot) i spent about 400 bucks on a sam's club special 65 inch for the den that we rarely watch. It has the same user interface but the picture doesn't do as well; however, we only use it for background when were cooking in the kitchen.

Always glad to see another customer go through the same 'buy a big dish then get rid of it for a small dish' situation I went through.

I dont remember the year, but I bought the 1st generation 1080p Samsung DLP that was about 5k..... probably 17 years ago. I have nice stuff, but I wont buy brand new tech anymore. I have the flagship Pioneer Elite Receiver from several years ago. I think it retailed for about $2,500 back then. I think I got it 3 years old for about 900 and it is still going strong today. My projector is 1080p..... still looks great. Maybe in about 5 years Ill upgrade.

Yeah, I think there's is a difference in buying something first Gen vs top of the line mid product life cycle...I agree and wouldn't buy anything top of line 1st Gen but once they have had a year or two to pull the cost down you can get incredible tech thay will last.

I'm stoked to see when they get to 100inch flat screens that are under 5000...it's going to happen in yhe next 5 years...that's crazy, going to be like back to the future!
