You will simply log into your youtube account and bam.... simple. Get a firestick from amazon is likely an easy route for you. You can probably get a 4k firestick for 29.99 during Christmas or right after.
I already have a Firestick for two of my HDTV’s which aren’t Smart TV’s. My main TV I’ve more recently purchased and remote is set up for streaming . I’ll check it out. I’ve seen YouTube option but never used it. I don’t have an account.
But thanks .

Hopefully I can get it on at least 3 of my TV’s so I can watch multiple games . My other 2 TV’s in Man Cave are on Rabbit Ears or Free TV as I call it and use for local network broadcast.

Poor, compressed picture quality..----> That on your end.. Not Mine.. YTTV 4k is Awesome
It's kind of a hobby of mine. I have a JVC 4K projector and a 131" screen with 9.4.6 atmos surround sound. Streamed content is horribly compressed, and you're not getting 4K (it's actually compressed 2K. If even that).

If ATSC 3.0 ever arrives, broadcasted TV games will be able to deliver true 4K if the NFL will employ 4K cameras across every game. It'll be able to handle 120Hz, maybe even 240Hz, frame rates.

Streaming doesn't look like it's even trying to deliver that. Bandwidth is too limited, so you get weak dynamics with video and audio.

I liked the fact directv had it so I can use the satellite in my camper while im out hunting ...not sure how im gonna stream now while not having internet in some places
You have GOT to be in the distinct minority, as it is a lot easier to stream nowadays than to use satellite.

IM a child of the Napster days:)
i use crack streams, and then it changed to meth streams. I don’t know who names these things, but lol that’s works for me. I just don’t know how you get four at once.

I had DirecTv Sunday Ticket for 20 years, most years discounted or free. I liked having access to 13 games on Sundays, didn't take it for granted.
I may be dead wrong, but I'm holding off any judgment of YouTube tv's acquiring the Sunday Ticket rights until they roll out their pricing model and terms for subscribers next season. AT&T's version of Sunday Ticket wasn't managed all that well, in my opinion.

theres really not going to be much flexibility….the nfl wants it at a set price and they have no interest in just select games, you’ll have to buy the whole package like now. It will cost the same or slightly more.

essentially it’s going to be your same Sunday ticket just with a new provider.

how is that going to work. I am not sure I can get Youtube on some of my older Tvs
Connect your laptop to the TV using a HDMI cord and bring it up on the laptop.
Or
Use topstreams.info/nfl to stream all the games for free like I do now ;)

Early reports prices will be the same and not any cheaper.

The plus is YouTube TV is much more cheap

Really really wish they would have a service that offers you a "pay per view" kind of deal. I wouldn't mind paying 40-50 bucks for each game I watch as I only miss out on about 3 games a year here.
I stream every game using topstreams.info/nfl/cowboys using Firefox with pop-up blocker add-ons.

Better get used to it, I believe they have the contract for another 9 years. Also the few games I've watched on there picture quality has been amazing, much better than Fox or CBS. I believe Amazon broadcasts in 4k
Unfortunately Sunday Ticket is Fox and CBS broadcasts.

I have Direct TV for 3 more weeks and then its gone. They called me yesterday trying to throw me a bone of Free Showtime for 90 days, and I told them to pound sand and that I was cancelling as soon as the season was over. I see all Sat TV going away. Long as folks can get a high quality stream, there is no reason. Also the wife is tired of that dish setting on the roof and the fact whenever we get hard rain or snow we loose signal. That doesn't count the fact if you get a few inches on snow on the dish you are screwed royally.

Same with me; yes, I had the snow coating covering the Directv dish more than once or twice. Pain in the arse. AT&T customer agents don't tell you about that.
Imagine, in a few years, maybe less, satellite TV will go the way of Blockbuster and DVD's. "That's progress"

Wow after almost 20 years I’ll miss it on Direct TV. I’m not familiar with streaming on YouTube . Will I get it in all of my TV’s already have a Genie for Direct TV? I doubt it and this will probably be the end for me with Sunday Ticket. Sad day ..
Lol I had no idea so many are so archaic at streaming technology

Yeah, I think there's is a difference in buying something first Gen vs top of the line mid product life cycle...I agree and wouldn't buy anything top of line 1st Gen but once they have had a year or two to pull the cost down you can get incredible tech thay will last.

I'm stoked to see when they get to 100inch flat screens that are under 5000...it's going to happen in the next 5 years...that's crazy, going to be like back to the future!
IN my sportsroom I use a 120inch projection screen. WAY cheaper than a TV. Projector quality and price is unreal today.
