NFL.com: Seahawks sign Julius Jones

Actually i'm really suprised we havent seen a Lets sign shaun alexander thread. We always have those threads everytime someone gets released

"We should sign (insert recently released player or FA here).

I have been really busy at work -

Can someone recap our Free agents signs this year - thanks!

Am I the only one that is kind of sad now that he's really gone?

I remember loving the guy, I actually almost bought a JJ jersey. I thought he was going to be a beast if he could stay healthy.

Little did I know...

Oh well, farewell JJ.

You haven't missed anything..........................Ty Law is still a FA.

Good luck dude. I'm sure Barber is celebrating tonight, of course unless something goes down with Dmac, which I doubt.

You bet.

We Franchised Ken Hamlin, Pro Bowl FS, so we wouldn't lose him.

We signed Zach Thomas, a 7 time Pro Bowl ILB, to come in and solidify a weakness in our pass coverage at ILB.

We Tendered Marion Barber, a Pro Bowl RB, at a price of a 1st and a 3rd round pick, so that means if anyone pays more for him than we can, we receive their 1st and 3rd round Draft picks as compensation. If no one signs him away from us we got him at a steal of a price.

We Tendered Chris Canty at a price of a 1st round pick. That means if someone pays him more than we can we get their 1st round Draft pick as compensation. If no one signs him away from us we got him at a steal of a price.

We re-signed 3 time Pro Bowl, 2007 All Pro LT Flozell Adams, thus protecting the blindside of our 2 time Pro Bowl QB for a few more years.

In the meantime other teams are spending foolishly and lavishly on players who will have to come in and make their mark in a new system.

We still have $3.8+ million dollars in space and 2 first round Draft picks are not being squandered though every rumor in the world is circulating.

If you were a Cowboys fan you'd be really proud of our Front Office. On top of these moves they currently are assured at least 2 Compensatory picks in the 2009 Draft for the Free Agent losses of Julius Jones and Jacques Reeves. They could still net 2 more if Nate Jones and Keith Davis exit stage left too.

I hope this helps. Good luck at work.

I really wished it worked out here in Dallas, but it didn't. I do wish JJ luck in Sea.

Checked out some Seahawks forums. Some of those guys are really stoked.

All I have to say is... upgrade your line, because JuJo is going to be running into the backs of your guards... a lot.

I wish JJ well, always liked him. I think he will get his feet back under him and we might see what we saw at that Thanksgiving game again.

I have my money on San Francisco or Washington for thanksgiving!

i think the seattle game will be a sunday nighter.

The Hawks overpaid. :laugh2:

Seriously, though, I appreciate what JuJo did for us. At least he tried and I always thought he gave it his all. Sorry to see it didn't work out in the end.

Now bring on DMC! :D

Nostradamus, Mr. Punk Sir, do you have any hot stock tips?

Good call.

if i was a seattle olineman, i would take out some insurance on my back. :laugh2:
