Commissioner Roger Goodell has conditionally reinstated quarterback Michael Vick to the NFL.

Under terms of the conditional reinstatement, Vick can practice immediately and play in the final two preseason games, should a team decide to sign him.
Goodell will decide on Vick's full reinstatement for the regular season by Week 6.
Former Colts coach Tony Dungy has agreed to continue his work with Vick as an advisor and mentor. MORE TO COME

Now, the real countdown begins. Which [strike]sucker[/strike] team will [strike]put their neck out[/strike] invite him to their training camp? Bets? Anyone?

Skins. They tried to replace Campbell twice (though Vick poses no threat to him in 2009), and we all know that Snyder can't resist big names.

I have to be honest, I would hate that. I want them to suffer with Campbell.

If that's the case, I may feel sorry for a Commanders' head coach for the first time in my life.

Then again...

Vick would be even worse than Campbell in that offense.

He might be, but I want to prolong the suffering with him based on what they paid to get him.

I can't wait to hear the Colt Brennan chants.

I agree with the Pats. They are the only team that could use him and would not take the PR hit. In fact, the media loves them so much they would probably get kudos for giving Vick a 2nd chance.

That is the other reason I think they could deal with the PR better at this stage than many teams out there. I really don't see Vick coming back into the NFL as a QB. Prior to getting into trouble major question were already taking place about his ability to play QB. His real talent is his legs and his ability to run and with this much time away from the game I think his days at QB are done.
