I'd also take a look at ILB Darry Beckwith. I think the Cowboys had some level of interest during the draft.

Yeah they did, I didn't realize he got cut. He was drafted lower than most expected and was still cut... that's a little concerning.

Saints cut Adrian Arrington (WR) who I know they were pretty high on. Not a speed guy but might be worth looking at.

A huge Saints fan from work was telling me that they were going to cut some good WRs.

What about Tim Crowder the DE from the Broncos. He is about to hit his 3rd year and got cut. Then again if the Broncos say he is not a good fit for the 3-4 then maybe he isn't. Still he put up good combine numbers and maybe another year as a reserve would help his maturation process.

I like Lee Robinson as a developmental LB with some upside.

Fowler would make a great backup to Bradie (which we currently barely even have) as long as he's healthy. Good special teamer, too. Didn't see any injury issues for him in a quick google check.

Terrance Taylor DT Colts?
Played for Michigan last year.
6'0" 319lbs.

That cut surprised me being a Michigan fan. They drafted him in the 4th round and he was very good at Meeeeeeeeeeechigan. I wish I watched him play in the preseason

Some of the cuts of interest to me
DE Tim Crowder - sucks to see a Longhorn get cut
RB Chris Ogbonnaya - I knew he was a longshot, but once again, sucks to see a Longhorn get cut

CB Evan Oglesby - I want him back

DE Otis Grigsby - he graduated from my HS, I hope he can land a gig elsewhere

Players I was taking a hard look at in the draft
CB Mark Parson
CB Cary Harris
S Courtney Greene
LB Jasper Brinkley
OT Lydon Murtha

Other cuts that caught me off guard
DT Vance Walker
TE Garrett Mills - I remember people going ga-ga over this kid
LB Victor Hobson - oh how his career has fallen off

Brinkley wasn't cut, was he? I saw where his brother was...

And Murtha is a great athlete and an interesting prospect. But someone said he was a wuss who didn't want to bulk up in college because he thought he wouldn't look as good in the mirror. One Barbie is enough.

Jets claimed FB Jason Davis (Bears), TE Matthew Mulligan (Titans) and P A.J. Trapasso (Titans) off waivers.

To make room, Jets waived P Reggie Hodges, T Mike Kracalik, LB Brandon Renkart and RB Danny Woodhead.

Courtney Greene is a smart safety who racks up tackkes and doesnt like to get beat deep. I'd add him, and then put him on PS when Hammy gets back.

ok........It means you don't have a team.

How can you justify any player at any point in their career being cut as "meaning nothing"?

This is hilarious coming from a guy pimping Figurs, a recent cut. Figurs is a very good returner, but he was cut for the same things that you are dumping on Mitch King_he is small, he is limited/lacks a true position, he has poor hands (wait, that is only Figurs problem).

And go ahead and pull out that post stating that King will be an NFL great. Hate all you want, I still like King. I will always root for guys that play their heart out, especially productive guys w/the athleticism, nastiness and speed to overcome their shortcomings (literally being smaller than average at their postion_sort of like Randy White, Emmitt Smith, Mike Singletary, Sam Mills, John Randle, Doug Flutie, Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeny, James Harrison, Elvis Dumeril, etc.)
