Agree but porter and Nolan would have been backups next season. Mazi is a big player next year for us.

Its a risk IMO. The physical ability is there, but he is raw in some key places, and even his run defense was somewhat inconsistent. But he does have Tomlinson like ability if he takes to coaching. I prefer Benton, but Im rooting for Smith now
