Draft Day ***NFL Draft Third Round thread***

I wonder if the kinds of players they want to draft tomorrow are special teams guys and OT depth, and these types of guys aren't for the 3rd round. So they took their shots this round?

I hope not. I want someone to compete at free safety and nose tackle. That's what I want more than anything else. Well, that and Ben Mason at fullback.

Lol. Ain't no one of you remember how the board roasted the TFred pick.

I remember! I loved the TFred pick from the very start, Wisconsin is noted for good defensive linemen and TFred was no exception. But yes he got roasted by a lot of guys in the beginning.

Thank god this crap is over
I dont know what your refering to, but several things drive me crazy
1. the screaming fans up close with their $5000 costumes acting like idiots for all the early picks
2. repeating the same phrase for each and every pick , like we dont know it is for the 2021 draft
3. showing the families celebrating each and every pick , I would rather see more HL for the player.

Five for five on defense in the first three rounds.

I think if you had asked most of the board how they would feel about that two days ago I think they’d be pretty happy.

I'm happy with it. Any defence helps us. We need all the help we can get there. I wanted defence in all of our top 5 picks. We got EXACTLY that. And we got a player with a slightly furry name to boot!

I agree Wright was a reach, but it's clear the Cowboys wanted him so I guess it doesn't matter if they took him at 99 or at 238. I'm sure there's still plenty of players left on their board they will still be able to get with their two 4th round picks tomorrow- if they land a big DT like Nixon or Shelvin I'll forget all about Wright pick.

So the only reaches that count are the ones where the team takes them but doesn’t want them.

Don't look for me to defend it. I'm just posting what I found and what makes me feel a little better. I honestly know nothing about this guy. But decent numbers in a decent conference I guess

here's another

And that's a tough conference to pull that off in with USC, UCLA, Stanford, Washington, Oregon, etc.

No man, he's better as a guard.

Yeah. Havent you seen the video of Philly picking Milton Williams? What a bad reach that is.

Whatever you guys have to do to convince yourselves this wasn’t a massive reach.
I never said it wasn't a reach. I'm saying not everybody had him as a 7th or undrafted guy. Some had him 5th-6th round which is a fact........ that would still be a reach so not sure how you got I'm trying to convince myself it wasn't a reach.

On the flip side I'm not going to say a player is terrible until I see them play. I have a hard time believing everybody on this board scouted him to begin with though so their comment is useless.
