Honestly, leagues fixing games in any sport wouldn't surprise me, particularly in the case of the NFL....but it's just so hard to make that kind of conclusion based on a couple of calls.

If it was just a couple of calls...that's one thing. But there were numerous "no calls" .....late hits on Romo...shots to the head of the QB not called. Randell Cobbs horrible replay review(ball obviously hit the ground)....David Bakhtiari mugging Mincey. Green Bay's O-line not called for one single holding call.

That was perhaps the worst officated/ one sided game I have ever witnessed in my 38 years of watching NFL football.

I don't care if Green Bay had more penalties...10-87 to 5-35. They should have been called for twice that.

There is no doubt in my mind the outcome of that game was determined ever before the Cowboys plane left Dallas.:(

The NFL has an agenda of pushing QB play to the forefront.....Hence I won't be shocked to see a Colts/Packers Super Bowl.

Andrew Luck vs Aaron Rogers.... Super Bowl

Oh Boy!!!! Just another product the NFL can cram down the throats of the NFL consumer:confused:

a conscious effort to tip replay calls in one team's favor for gambling profit? Probably not,,, but to sway public perception and appease the rabble rousers? Most definitely. The league doesn't always aspire to an even playing field.

Infowars?

Are 7 foot tall reptile aliens involved in the fix too?

So a guy from infowars posts an article feeding the conspiracy theorists, and we're supposed to accept it as a legitimate publication and his claims as Gospel? :lmao:

NFL Facing Accusations of Fixing Cowboys/Packers Game
Gambling profits easily dwarf television revenue and ticket sales

by Kit Daniels | Infowars.com | January 12, 2015

The Dallas Cowboys’ loss in Sunday’s NFL playoff game is raising accusations that the game was rigged to ensure millions in gambling profits, which can easily dwarf television revenue and ticket sales.
In the fourth quarter of the Cowboys-Packers game, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant made a huge catch on a fourth-and-2, moving the Cowboys near the goal line, but the referees overturned the play after initially calling it a catch.

It is also interesting to note it’s not illegal for a league to fix its own games.

I thought about it after listening to Nick Eatman on The Break ... and the first thing that came to mind when the call was overturned (which I wasn't concerned about at the time) was payback for the Detroit debacle.

As Nick said, all week the NFL went out of their way to report how Detroit got all these bad calls during the game. I'm not really dismissing this accusation. But it is what it is. They ain't gonna take it back.

Do people realize how silly it sounds that a game is fixed based on such a crazy catch is that? How can anyone even predict that such a catch would even happen lol.

Since the catch was only over-turned on review, that means Mike MccArthy is in on it. He threw the flag. From the grassy knoll.

The line was GB 5.5

I thought about that after the game ended.

I was screaming this Sunday night, but I honestly don't buy it. I think it was a bad call that didn't go our way (there's no way I can look at it without bias).

GB also had a ton of luck with the tipped catch to end the game and tipped FG end of the 1st half. They had one of those NYG type games where they didn't really deserve winning. (SF-NYG 2012)

I in no way can see this as being true. There are TOO many people involved and TOO many moving parts and TOO many scenarios for it IMO. Was it a BAD call? yes. Was it a conspiracy? Probably not. But, lord help us all, if its! I would laugh and laugh and I don't know...

In a league of parity...........How can you account for this coming Sunday games?

1. New England. Caught cheating/spying on other teams practices.... having been docked draft picks.

vs

2. Indianapolis Colts. Conspiracy theory that they "Sandbagged the season" to get the 1st pick in the draft. Suck for Luck T-shirts sold for untold profit.

3. Seahawks being busted for their PED use. Numerous players have been caught....but the numbers in Seattle are staggering.

vs

4. Green Bay....And the numerous benifical calls to advance the "Golden Boy" in the playoffs.

Maybe Jim Rome was right.......If your not cheating.........your not trying;)

Myself....I find all this very fishy. In a league where parity is supposed to be paramount.....the same cheating franchises find a way to rise to the top

Hmmm..........If a guy like Blandio is dumb enough to get in the compromising situation with JJ party bus..........does one not be able to conclude very easitly he'd do the same with high stakes gamblers and all "they offer" up

Im pretty sure that is the main reason it was overturned. He took so much flak all week on social media saying jerry paid him off that he wanted to prove everyone wrong.
