If he has value trade him. Personally if anyone watches tape lately they would laugh.

cutting him however would make a bold statement.
If anyone looked at tape of Nolans last 4 defenses they would laugh.....giving Jaylon continued value for a trade. No need to cut the guy.

Smith is a pretty good LB, unfortunately he needs very good/great LBs next to him to be productive. He gets a lot of tackles, but has come up short on huge plays for gains instead of keeping the play in front of him. It has nothing to do with his contract, he's just not that great.

Good. Jaylon is a sunk cost at this point. We can whine and complain about the deal he received but it is what it is and he is a total liability.

he's on pace for 150+ tackles.

He has over 400+ in 45 starts.

he's not a DT/DE

I just don't think there is anyone that wants a bad linebacker for 12 million a year. Now that's a good price if you are actually are a pro bowler, but he definitely isn't.

As far as Nolan, I have no skin in the game.

You say he bad and coaches chose him as an alternate for the probowl just a season ago. I just call it like I see it. Kris sucked and Nolan definitely sucks...which is my opinion. The opinion of NFL coaches is that Jaylon in recent seasons was among the best at his position....this is either true or its not.

LOL NFL coaches, yet Smith is being considered not even good enough to be trade bait....
