"Leak"? What an odd choice of words. Talking about stuff that happens TO YOU in your OWN LIFE is not a leak. If he spread news about TO fighting with another player or coach, then that's a leak. There's no crime here, only Jerry's overactive and vindictive imagination.

I'm not sure if he's signed a confidentiality agreement, but it wouldn't surprise me if he has.

any way you try to spin it, if Haley disclosed that information, he shouldn't have. Any player or coach will tell you that type of stuff stays in-house. It already gets overblown if T.O. stops at a Dairy Queen and takes a crap but in this case we're talking about an argument. That's like the crown jewel to the media. Those columns write itself.

If his employer conditions his employment on not leaking information, then yes, that would be a violation enforceable in court.

Todd Haley! He is the one who has been leaking information at Valley Ranch and Jerrry has busted him for it. It sounds like it was not just TO who was angry at him this week.

Well, Jones has said that he would get rid of the person responsible for the leaks. If that was Haley, he has no one to blame but himself. However, if he has leaked accurate information, let's be mindful of what he is being fired for. Has any of the information, which he has leaked, been lies or half-truths?

If Haley leaked the argument from earlier this week AND the fine from the beginning of the year, I'd fire his sorry butt with extreme prejudice, and blacklist him in the league to the best of my ability.

In doing something like that, especially in regards to TO, you open up the media to point at your team and thus have the possibility of DISTRACTIONs. They stated earlier in the media today that the vets on the team are starting to get tired of TO already. If Haley helped this happen, then he has no need to be with this team any longer.

You still miss the point I guess.

Whether anything happened or if TO is at fault for it all or not.

If you are given instructions not to leak information from your head coach and the GM/Owner of the team...than don't do it.

So you could have TO completely wrong in all instances but that does not mean you go tell the media when you have been told not to do so in the first place.

That is the way I see it anyways. TO may indeed be at fault for it all, but that does not give the coach the right to talk to the media about it unless he was given persmission by the same people in charge that told the coaches not to leak to the media.

I am not sure how more objective one could be or how hard it would be for a coach to follow the directions of his employers and supervisors.

Once again it does not mean TO is right.
