NFL network says T. Haley is the leak

The point (lament?) is that Jerry is giving the inpression that he's much more upset by the leak than TO's infraction. I think casual observers would agree.

Todd Haley! He is the one who has been leaking information at Valley Ranch and Jerrry has busted him for it. It sounds like it was not just TO who was angry at him this week.

If it was him he is pretty two faced to this organization. Coaching is the management staff and if he leaked this way he needs to go. You would not think it is him though, based on his renewed love for Owens. Practically had him in a lip lock.

Have no fear, underdog is here. Always was the coolest cartoon for me...

Lol. I think I got it figured out. The media is nothing but a bunch of lying, piece of crap excuses for human beings with a bias against anything TO or Cowboys related, unless it's something we agree with of course. :bang2:

Glad to see you finally become one with the world.:D

I made mention of the last JFE article.

How there comes a time when a reporter makes so many articles on speculation and clear over the top bias, yet after doing it so long when they finally come out with an article with some truth to it nobody will believe it.

Comes down to that cry wolf scenario sometimes.

And of course there are others that no matter what if someone is not putting the cowboys in the brightest possible positive light they rag on them like they do Aikman.

I'm admittedly prejudiced against him because he was Al Groh's 'rat' with the Jets, and the players detested him. He's also one of those nepotism cases too common in the NFL. His dad was a bigwheel in the FO and he got his foot in the door that way.

What he did in Chicago I do not know. But I think he had a few high draft pick receivers that didn't get developed. Here, I guess he gets some credit for Patrick.

But how much development do you need to put into a Terry Glenn, a Keyshawn Johnson, or a Terrell Owens? He's not exactly turned any sow's ears into silk purses.

His act on the sidelines last year messing with the official...Bill had to physically restrain him, and that told me he's a bit too full of himself.

I like that he's 'vocal' and doesn't back down, but I could never get over his informer role in NY...Bryan Cox hated his guts, and he helped sour the environment so much the players turned against Groh.

If he has leaked info, he should go, and that goes for anyone, not just Haley. Bill runs a tight ship, and I can't fathom how he could trust a guy again after that. But then, I couldn't fathom why he brought him in after Chicago, either.

I don't think he'd be missed as 'passing coodinator' - Palmer could take over that role, whatever it means.

Anyway, prejudice aside, leaking info to the press in an environment of non-stop media scrutiny is just flat out harmful to the franchise. How can the constant flaps ever die down when an insider is fanning the flames? (if that is actually what happened, that is).

How is Jerry doing that?

I don't know who Tom Haley is. :D

Someone should call Todd Haley and find out. He'll likely tell you anything you want to know.

Ha! Ha! You funny man.

So getting back to my question, is this merely speculation that TODD Haley is the leak or do we have definite information.

why do you need to know? it only help those with anti-Owens agenda. It causes more focus on one person instead of the team for another week.

Ha! An endorsement of ignorance! Why am I not surprised? Um, we need to know because his reputation as a team-killer precedes him. If he's pulling the same crap in Dallas, I want to know. So would most sane people. Liberal use of the word "mediot" won't change that simple fact.

You don't NEED to know, you WANT to know. Nothing wrong with wanting to know IMO.

However the only ones that NEED to know is the ones in charge of the team.

In the end however you try to slice it Haley was wrong to give out the info because it is in direct violation of what the HC and Owner has said concerning giving info to the media. So you just won't win the argument that Haley is not right on this one.

is it Jerry's money or your money? are you paying his salary? first of all, the Cowboys organization really owe you nothing. So what, he lives up to his reputation. how does that effect you? do you get off by saying "i told you so"? Bottom line, all we as fans should be worried about is will he perform on Sunday.

TO was late for a meeting. That is inexcusable and should never happen.

But it isn't as if TO is the only one to ever do that, or even to argue with a coach. The problem is that it was leaked, when it should have been handled in house.

Yes - I believe that Haley's infraction is larger than TO's.

As he should be. Haley betrayed the trust of his team (if he is indeed responsible for leaking info), while Owens was simply late for practice. A far less consequential "crime" IMO.

I'm sorry, but a little thing called the truth trumps Jerry's edicts. Go ahead, Jer. Fire Haley and make him a martyr.

Leaking information, whether true or false, in violation of an employment agreement is a firable offense. How do you not get this?

You must be joking. It isn't about truth or lieing. The fact is, he disobeyed an order from his boss. When you do that, you are to be reprimanded.

Tell you what - I'll truthfully call my competitors tomorrow and give them some insider secrets regarding our clients. As long as it's truthful, who cares?

TO is a serial offender who was already on thin ice. He couldn't afford to be late anymore.

The problem is that it was leaked, when it should have been handled in house.

If by "in house" you mean covered up or kept quiet, then hell no.

Yes - I believe that Haley's infraction is larger than TO's.

This is like the parents of a bully making excuses for their little monster and blaming his schoolyard victims instead. Cognitive dissonance in action.
