Wow, pretty shocked.
I haven't heard the actual audio though.

Six months is harsh but they should have never hired the guy.
Why? They suspended Greg Williams indefinitely..
Maybe the soft part of society is the one who wants to let everyone off with a slap on the wrist when they choose to do or say something really stupid.
Don't get me wrong I think it's pretty rough that they went that hard at him but oh well. If you are going to open your mouth and say something stupid then be prepared for the consequences of saying something that stupid.
Oh yes it does. He works for them.nope. But what baldinger did on the radio had nothing to do with his TV work.
So he deserves to be suspended without pay for 6 months for a stupid comment?
nope. But what baldinger did on the radio had nothing to do with his TV work.
he is a coach. Baldinger was on a half *** terrible radio show.
I think we're too easily offended. All Baldinger did was say some meaningless words. It's not like he put a bounty on Elliott or did something illegal. The NFL Network should have said it does not condone suggesting that a bounty be put on a player and left it at that.
What Baldinger said bothers me less than the rumors that get spread by so-called media without any factual basis. At least his comment was simply his opinion, as stupid as it was. This suspension just shows what a hypersensitive society we live in.

Just in case, maybe he can file for unemployment...not sure.Yea, it is better than being fired and it isn't like he is living pay check to pay check

I guess another way to look at it is: What if an eagle player had taken Elliott out (even though it would very likely have had nothing to do with Baldinger)? I can just hear the fans howling now. He really should have thought more about what he was going to say before he actually said it.I'd have to hear context. A bounty on someone back in the Greg Williams days meant that you'd be rewarded with monetary incentive for taking out or injuring another player.
I know this was on some small talk show, but he's in an industry where you have to monitor what you say and his parent employer wants no part of that.
