It's on now.

Romo's 'meltdowns' after November is the number 9 meltdown.

*facepalm*

I wonder if Matt Ryan is gonna be called a choker after next year if he doesn't win a playoff game.

He was a rookie. What the hell is wrong with you? You Romo defenders are going to all time lows now, seriously.

So was Romo, technically, when he lost the Seattle game. It was his first year starting. Sheesh.

Yeah, because playing at Boston College is equivalent to having NFL training for 3 years. Sheesh indeed.

Yeah because playing at Eastern Illinois provides the same lvl of college play as Boston College. Sheesh.

I guess having the kind of running game Atlanta had last season equals what we've had in Romo's 2 and half years of starting.

BTW, I'm I the only one who doesn't think it's a coincidence that it's the same as his jersey number.

Romo at number 9 = fail.

Is Mcnabb on the list?

Romo was prepared for NFL defenses as soon as he stepped on th field in 2006. Matt Ryan probrably still has alot to learn so the comparison is still stupid imo. Just a bunch of people who want to lump other qbs in with Romos failures.

Whats with the personal attacks? Im guessing you wont get any warnings because you aren't a TO defender or a Romo basher. You guys stay in you Silver and blue heaven thinking that Romo hasn't been a choker. The rest of the world will laugh

Wait a sec...

They claim Romo's performance in December is the # 9 meltdown of all time?

Seriously?

Of all time?

Where's that Picard/Riker double facepalm pic...?

I think the point being made above is that Romo spent 2003-2005 on the roster even though he did not get into any games. During this period he was able to mentally and physically prep for the NFL post-college. Therefore, even though he did not start until 2006, he was not a fresh-out-of-college rookie in 2006, either. Matt Ryan was a true rookie last year, as he started for the Falcons just months after donning a Boston College uniform.

From this point of view, to compare 2006 Romo with 2008 Ryan is not a good comparison.

Actually they talk about Romo meltdownS, in the plural. For the NFL Network folks that is what makes him "all time," in that his performances have been repeated. I'm not defending their choice, just clarifying their position.

It's an occupational hazard when you play quarterback. You get all of the credit and all of the blame.
