SNYDER was a scumbag human being, and a guy when u look at him you just want to smash his face in.

That said... I've enjoyed the last 30 years of their ineptitude.

It's good to have a cupcake or 2 in ur division you can count on. What if they get good?
The last 30 years for the Cowboys hasn’t exactly been stellar and Washington beat us once last year with a rookie QB, making his first NFL start. Can’t just mark them up as an easy win. That’s how the Cowboys end up getting beat by bad teams.

as long as Ron Rivera is still there, running things, and coaching, I can't see them taking the next step BTW what has he ever done as a HC? Meanwhile, the media continually gives him luv and praise when he loses. This time they wont be able to blame Snyder, he is gone.My hunch is the new ownership will have him on a short leash. The media sucks.

Mike Fisher tonight was trying to say Washington has a bad playoff history over the last 20 years in comparison to Dallas. THAT was a terrible argument. We have MAYBE just as bad a history the last 27 years as far as postseason goes' Fish was triggered tonight btw. It was sad watching the guy be rude. Then again, what the heck was I thinkin even watching his live? The guy is the biggest Jerry defender there is. lol

I know....even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then.... but going all the way back to when Romo was at the beginning of his run as established starter, how many times were Wash FAVORED against us?

How many times during that decade plus did we go into a Washington game thinking "uh oh....here comes an L"

I just hope they continue being bad...at least another 5 years or so. It's been nice.

How well the Commanders will fare after new ownership takes over but the franchise's football operations will not be directly managed by Josh Harris if his other teams' front office structures are any indication (refer to this link).

Low standards all the way around... Fisher just yaps his jaws and says very little most of the time.

In 2012 they beat us with a one legged RG3 in a season finale elimination game. Anyone who’s followed the Cowboys for a long time knows you can’t be chalking up wins. There wasn’t anyone on the board that thought we were going to lose the season finale last year to Washington with a rookie QB, making their first start. Not only did the Cowboys lose, but they got beat down. I’ll never trust the Cowboys completely.

Boy is Ron Rivera on the hot seat. He’s going to have to win a lot of games and make the playoffs or else.

I've got to guess he's hung around for so long because he's in tight with Danny boy. Those days are over.

Even had Snyder remained the owner, Rivera was in a make or break season. Even if Washington makes the playoffs he’s probably going to be let go unless they go deep. Anytime new ownership takes over they’re going to make wholesale changes and it usually starts with the head coach. They didn’t have time to do it this year with the time it took to approve the sale of the team.

It would be great to see:
-Team name restored back to original.
-Riverboat Ron fired and Jack Del Rio named HC.
-The NFL settle with Jon Gruden for $60 million in defamation suit.

None will happen, of course.

He does have a very punchable face.

Thank god. That rebrand was one of the most embarassing things.

All the history and culture to refer to, and they chose the most generic name.

And the jerseys are generic trash too. They were better as the Football Team

That'd be kind of a PR nightmare. Guess in comparison not really much when your owner was forced out of the NFL for being a pervert.
Yeah, if anything, this is the best time to undo a rebrand; new management, new org, etc.

It needs to be done. So the decision might actually endear fans to the new owners.
