they do have a worse playoff history over the past 20 years than we do

that doesnt mean we're good it proves their ineptness

3 playoff wins since 92...and 1 playoff win in the past 20 years (05 vs the bucs) and also they havent won more than 10 games in a year since 1991
Nah U are right, but I think Fish just made a bad comp. We have much improving to do. I find it a new low bar if Fish thinks our "accomplishments" over the last 27 years in the playoffs is something to celebrate. It's sad and weird that he would use that. The WFT ie commode's are just BAD.We agree with that.

I don't like him

this is just either ignorant or he lied. The WFT was NEVER EVER better than we are except maybe when Dallas first came into the league. That is it. We quickly overtook them and have never relented.

The Commanders don't have a playoff history. They didn't exist until last year, and didn't make the playoffs.
yeah yeah but its not like the last 27 years here in Dalas has been stellar either. He acts as if we did Sumthing in that time frame that was heads and tails better than them. Ridiculous. I thing we did better is draft. But winning big games eludes us.

It may take a Super Bowl win for Ron Rivera to keep his job. Had the sale of the team gone down earlier in the offseason he would be looking for work along with his entire staff. The new ownership will end up cleaning house at the end of the 2023 season.

Have you ever looked up the definition of renegade?
As a matter of fact I did, and although the meaning isn’t flattering, it can work in football terms. Dallas has an XFL team named the Renegades.

I would think Dallas' use of Renegades would be a good reason why any Washington-related decision maker would avoid adopting it. The weak name association would likely surface at some point and have questions directed at ownership prompting why any name, associated with Dallas, would be chosen in the first place.

the former owner(wft) was just a bad human being. So of course, he was a terrible owner. The new guy has it easy. All he has to do is not be a jerk. I think they should go back to the teams original name or some variation of it that is acceptable. Being a native American is a great thing and the fact SOME made a big stink over it after many decades is scary. It was never ever meant to be a poke at them. In fact, just the opposite is true. The original name was meant to revere them. I hear magic Johnson wants to do what I am saying. He will be met with a big fight by those in D.C sitting in Congress. Tax dollars at work lol

I think your right. Only reason he held on this long was 2 fold. Snyder was that much of an issue so he wasn't the focus, secondly, the media gave him much luv and a free pass. But now all that is gone and he will need to produce. He's on a short leash.

1972 season___defending NFL Champion/Super Bowl VI winner Dallas lost 3-26 to Washington in the NFC Championship game.

1982 season*__Dallas lost to Washington 17-30 in the NFC Championship game.
* Players' strike - only a 9-game regular season schedule

Or else what? They return him to Easter island?
Or else he’ll be looking for another job. This will likely be his last head coaching job. Can’t think of any head coach off the top of my head that’s been fired twice as HC and got a third opportunity as an HC.

He's probably referring to 1982 to, but not through, 1992.
