If they say alleged victim or accuser, it weakens their stance. They are punishing Elliott for domestic violence, so they have to have a victim.

Honestly the best thing Goodell and NFL can do at this point is throw out entire suspension before this gets out of hand. Henderson can actually clean it up, leaving Goodell and NFL only issuing a concurring statement. That would kill it and close this once and for all. No one would hardly remember in a couple months. But to drag this **** out will only leave a scar on BOTH sides.

You can't throw around "victim" without a court case

Alleged victim or accuser would be more appropriate

Yes.

The NFL released a statement earlier accusing the NFLPA of leaking information about the girl in an attempt to discredit the girl, which is an oft used but shameless attempt by accused in matters like this. They went on to say tactics like this are why women do not come forward in matters like this. I am paraphrasing this but they basically tried to shift this whole thing to now shaming the NFLPA.
