It doesnt make any sense. Nobody EVER said ANYTHING about this being against any rule, and it was discussed ad naseum in 2009 and 2010. The NFL knew full well teams were looking into doing these things, hell it was used as justification by Dallas to give Miles Austin that weird front-loaded deal.

I can't fathom how the NFL can punish teams for legally front-loading contracts simply because they did in a year before the lockout. What about all the teams who purged salaries to avoid the dead money in 2011?

Good. i do not want Jerry to get any of these high price free Agents anyway. i want to keep our own players and build via the draft. I do agree that if it was the New york teams this would not happen. but if it keeps us from these high price guys i am happy.

The structure of contracts should be between player, agent and team. The cowboys didn't demand an uncapped year, they were given the salary freedom. RAWR

This is some major BS. So basically they are charging us $27 mil for Austin's $17 mil or whoever else we front loaded. Makes no sense.

Out of 32 teams, we are the only 2?? I highly doubt that.

Move it all to 2013 when the cap increases. We should be fine this FA period.
