Defense played bad the entire game.

I have only defended that Dak, did not lose the game by himself.

How can you say the defense played bad the entire game when you clearly don't have facts to back it up. You can say they gave up all those TD's but you need all the CONTEXT why it happened. You can go back to every post I and rnr_honeybadger made in here and it clearly tells a different story then what you make it out to be. Stop being so one sided.

Dak had a bad half. Defense was horrendous. How is that 1 sided.

BTW, if we want to talk about offensive performance in the Gb game here are all the drives in the first half

1 - PUNT - drive took 3:43 - went 27 yards
2 - INTERCEPTION - drive took 43 seconds - went 5 yards
3 - PUNT - drive took 5:44 - went 44 yards
4 - INTERCEPTION - drive took 1:33 - resulted in a Pick 6
5 - TOUCHDOWN - drive took 1:50 - went 40 yards

That's the body of work Dak Prescott and the #1 offense in the league put up in the first half of a playoff game. If you think the defense set the tone of that game you are horribly mistaken. The first interception was after the defense forced a GB punt. Defense just got off the field and then got thrown back out there by Dak and the offense in 43 seconds.

Offense- Having an offense that can run or pass out of any formation so they are not tipping their hand to the defense on every play.

Defense- Maintain gap responsibility for the DL and do not commit stupid penalties on 3rd downs.

Ownership- Hold coaches accountable for having/not having a good game plan and have them hold players accountable. Also develop a culture that fosters a work hard mentality. Do not celebrate making the playoffs or wild card wins.
Coaches- Play the guys making plays over those just making big money. Have a plan for the younger guys that is based on what they do well and actually use them. Sit players that do not have their head in the game, a series a quarter or even the whole game. Coach them hard during the week so game days feel easy.

You have to be able to run the ball efficiently and you have to be able to stop the run, which are two areas the Cowboys have consistently failed at in the playoffs the past 2+ decades. Your defense has got to step up in the playoffs or you have no chance of reaching the SB. Our defense has been a HUGE problem in the playoffs and was the primary reason we had two number one seeded teams go one and done. Defense wins championships. A lot of SBs including last years comes down to stopping your opponent in critical situations.

Any offense that does this in the playoffs is bound to be 1 and done. Regardless of Run def or whatever you wanna put blame on. This is NOT what a runner up MVP is supposed to do in the first half.
