I tend to disagree with a caveat....I would rank us as #1 since the problems in Miami and Cleveland are probably fixable (Miami could get better personnel and even Cleveland could get new ownership....we're stuck).

And then there are others that say, "we aren't #3, there are <insert 4, 5 or as many as> 8 teams worse than we are.

So 1st or 10th ?

Are we satisfied with anything close to that?

He's actually 6th in line. We're the most valuable franchise by far (half billion dollar difference between us and the next team), but Paul Allen is far and away the most wealthy.

He's worth a little over 5 times as much as Jerry, and 3 times more than the next guy in line, Stanley Kroenke (rams).

Looking at Dallas' history after the last Super Bowl justifies the statement. Parcells was the only bright spot. Just think of Dallas win/loss stats if he didn't coach the team.

Wade's tenure wasn't half bad.

Ok, but Why Is Everybody Pickin' On Me?

Might not hurt having by far the richest owner, too.

Seattle's owner Paul Allen (Microsoft co-founder) is worth $33.8 billion.
Miami's Stephen Ross (real estate magnate) is worth $4.4 billion.
Rams' Stan Kroenke (sports tycoon) -- $4.0 billion.
TB's Malcolm Glazer (corporate raider) -- $3.6 billion
Jerry Jones (oil and gas shyster) -- $2.7 billion

And several others are close behind.

But considering their money, the richest guys have not necessarily gotten the job done.
Look at the Florida teams -- TB, Jags, & Fins. Their owners' combined net worth is over $10 billion, but they collectively haven't won more than a third of their games.

Methinks there must be a premium placed on the sport rather than the management.

I think dysfunctional is the wrong word.

If they said Dallas was the 3rd most mismanaged team in the NFL I'd completely agree.

Too much nepotism and a strong 'good ol' boy' network has crippled the franchise.

There's very little if any accountability for the bad contracts and personnel decisions. I firmly believe that fear is a healthy motivator.

The people holding this franchise back have nothing to fear. They can make one bad decision after another and nothing happens to them.

That's one of my biggest problems with the front office structure.
