The Cowboys' star running back, Ezekiel Elliott, rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown Sunday, just two days after a legal victory in a federal appeals court allowed him to play. The team's owner, Jerry Jones, has been at the center of the debate regarding player protests during the national anthem, with a position that has evolved throughout the season. The team's ex-quarterback, now a broadcasting sensation, returned home Sunday to great fanfare and inspired some not-so-friendly fire from another former Cowboys legend turned entertainer.

We keep watching. In a year full of politicized analysis of television ratings, the Cowboysdeliver. CBS had its highest ratings of the year for Chiefs-Cowboys, a fact only notable for its entire lack of surprise. Like it or not, this is America's Team more than ever.

We’ve held last 3 opponents to 10,19 & 17 points. That’s the difference.

“ Bob, if we hold them to 17 points or less we’ll win 90% of our games “ Landry told Lilly.

Night and day since Irving and Lee have come back. Totally different defense. Sure some holes still with the likes of Heath and Jones as our Safeties but still drastically better overall. Like from last ranked quality to very respectable in difference.

Good I'm glad we're getting amazing ratings I can cancel the stupid football package next year after 20 years of being raped by DirecTV
Im with you on that.
I say Im going to cancel every year and then I chicken out.
But so far this year I think there has only been one game that was not nationally televised for me. I think it was the 49ers game.

Thing is that the original AFC teams are all in smaller markets - save the Jets and Patriots.
And the Jets and Patriots were not big market teams till the 90's.

So when an AFC team plays the best TV rated team in the NFL their numbers go way up.

Just look at the TV maps week to week.

Cowboy dominate as the stations make their decisions based on ratings they hope they will get.
Those rating points turn into more $$$$ in their pockets from the rating points and what they can charge advertisers.

I mentioned this in a thread a couple of weeks back. This year I decided to not get the Ticket once I saw you can get single games for 50$. I likely will only have to buy the two I have so far. Niners and Rams. Living here in KY.

I then called Dtv and they gave me 25$ off each game. So 25$ a game is a pretty good deal imo.

Purchase the single game for 50$. Plus they’ll give you money off if you call.

Is that in the US market or somewhere else?
I believe I had read somewhere that in Canada, you could buy "ala carte" single games, but here in the USA, I have not seen single game deals offered.

Yes. Here I live in Kentucky. You just go to any game and select single day pass. You can only watch it on the receiver you purchase it on.

I was a longtime subscriber to NFL Sunday Ticket. With NFL Streams Reddit now being a thing, there is absolutely positively no purpose in ever spending another dime on Sunday Ticket or going to a bar for the game.

NFL Streams Reddit works for every game without fail. No buffering, crystal clear, etc. Highly highly recommend it for anyone who hasn't tried (not just football, but any sport for that matter, works like a charm).

I've never considered him a Cowboy.
In no way am I diminishing his talent or contributions but, Deion, in my view, was one of the first high price "rentals" initially with SF, then Dallas and later with Washington and Baltimore. He went for the money, spotlight and playoff opportunity.

Unlike Haley, who found a "home" in Dallas, Deion rented an apartment.

Even though they both played in Dallas for 5 years.

In hindsight, he may have been the beginning of the end for The Dynasty. He was a high priced acquisition that initially worked out and Jerry would go on to attempt to purchase another championship for over a decade following. Deion was positive reinforcement for a terrible Jerry habit.
